Asphodel Inn - Newly Renovated

At first, my impression upon check-in was quite good, but upon closer inspection, I found dandruff, body dirt, leftover hair, and a lot of other disgusting filth left behind by the previous guest on the bed. I feel like the bedsheets were never changed, because if they had been, it’s impossible for the previous customer's gross stuff to still be there. Bugs kept crawling up and down the drain continuously, crawling back and forth, which was completely sickening. I got back to the hotel to rest late at night, and then the next morning, for some unknown reason, the fire alarm went off right at 7:00, waking me up with a start. It lasted for 10 to 20 minutes the whole time. On the positive side, some of the front desk staff could speak Chinese, the check-in process was quite fast, and the room was more spacious and cheaper compared to other hotels in this price range.

Traveling with family, the family room suited our needs perfectly. The hotel's location is great, with many good restaurants nearby and a subway station. It was very convenient for visiting Sentosa and the Disney cruise terminal. We had a pleasant experience.

After checking in, I found the room to be indeed clean and tidy. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. The air conditioning was quiet and not noisy, and the overall environment was relaxing and comfortable. The experience was better than expected, and getting a good rest while traveling is very important.

For Singapore, this hotel offers decent value for money. It's conveniently located near all the main attractions and right next to Little India.
