Hotel Calmo Hamilton

Decent hotel for spending night, with my family, the loaction is good, near to mrt station, and theres easy to find food as well, we went there during f1, so the price is much higher

I really like the location of this hotel. There is a bus stop just at the corner of hotel, literally, a minute walk. The Lavander mrt is just a 10 minutes walk, that line takes you to Changi airport. It's a good central location to jump off from to the various places you want to visit. There are also a lot of restaurants and cafes besides and near the hotel, there's plenty to choose from for meals. The single deluxe room I booked was just enough room for a single bed, and you have to close your luggage in order to open the door. But the layout was efficient, especially the bathroom, the shower area was quite roomy. I only wish they added a small stool, even one that folds so you have a place to sit to drink tea without fear of spilling it on your bed. The room was generally clean but the electric kettle was dusty. The tv only has one channel. You can't rely on the switch indicator to request for cleaning, you need to request it at the front desk. I was told by the day shift personnel that switching on the light will be enough only to find my room not cleaned when I got back, and was told by the the night shift personnel that some of the indicators don't work and it's best to ask the front desk. The cleaning is done after 5pm. You can sometimes hear voices from the street but not often. I'd come back for the location, but you probably might find a better sized room for the same price in the area if you book early enough.

The room is compact—typical for Singapore boutique hotels in this price range—so space to lay out large suitcases is limited. However, the essentials are well covered: comfortable bed, cold air conditioning, good water pressure, and clean sheets

Booked the superior queen room. Room is small and looks old rugged. My room tv is not working and despite informing the front desk, nothing was done. The bed is comfortable. Not ideal for for couples or with children and not ideal for staycayion. Ideal for individual who just requires a room with bed overnight like a motel..

Hotel Calmo is very conveniently located, with easy access to nearby train stations(Bendameer and Lavender) and bus stops. There are plenty of cafés, food outlets, and boutiques in the area, and a FairPrice supermarket is just a short walk away, making it a great place to stay.

The hotel location is convenience & can find some cafe/restaurant around there. Room is clean and tidy. Just hotel did not prepare the spare umbrellas at the lobby for the guest to use in case raining. Hope can get ready some spare umbrellas since always raining in Singapore.

Surrounding with good food. Walking distance with 2 mrt line, Lavender mrt stn and Bendemeer mrt stn.

Simple room set-up. Very small bathroom. Hardly any space for shower. Bed is soft
