Hotel Waterloo Singapore - Handwritten Collection

The hotel's location is pretty good, quite close to the subway station, and it's relatively clean. However, on the fourth day, our room still hadn't been cleaned by past 5 PM. I called the front desk, and they said they'd send someone right away, but it still took a long time for them to come. The soundproofing is definitely not good; on the first night, the sounds from the room next door showering in the early morning were incredibly loud.

Satisfied with the room's cleanliness and complete facilities; The location is close to two subway stations, and it only takes 40-50 minutes to get to the airport; The self-service check-in/check-out in the lobby is generally convenient;

This was my first time visiting Singapore, and I saw reviews saying this hotel was new and clean. My actual experience was fantastic!! The only minor thing was that the amenities didn't seem to be checked daily, but after notifying the front desk, they were immediately replenished. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and I would definitely consider staying there again on my next trip.

1. The transportation is incredibly convenient. You just exit MRT A, go down the stairs, walk back about 50 meters, and you're there. Across the street from the hotel, there's a small food court and a supermarket (items are very cheap, great for buying water and drinks). The nearest Ya Kun Kaya Toast is just one traffic light away, and Fort Canning Park is about a 20-minute walk. Taking the bus to anywhere is also convenient. 2. The hotel facilities are new, and the front desk service is very welcoming. There are plenty of elevators, so you don't have to wait. Toothpaste, toothbrushes, slippers, direct drinking water, a safe, and a hairdryer are all provided. The room also has a smart speaker to control everything. 3. The only downsides are that the room is small (which I was prepared for, as it can't compare to rooms in China) and the soundproofing is average, but it's acceptable.

First time visiting Singapore, I chose this hotel based on its price and location. Although the room was a bit small, it was new and clean, which was a big plus. It's about a 3-7 minute walk to different MRT lines, and most of the nearby attractions are within walking distance.

Simple and comfortable, with delicious and affordable food right across the street. Ya Kun Kaya Toast is also very close by. Everything is great, except the room is a bit small. comfortable, good location, near Kaya toast haha.
