Aura Opera House Chinatown - Newly Renovated

I loved the location - right smack bang in the middle of China Town with easy access to food stalls, restaurants and shops and of course to the various religious sites. The hotel is very easily accessible from 2 MRT stations - China Town and Maxwell. The room was clean and comfortable. I had booked the room at the very last minute due to an emergency and did not check the details properly. And being that it was the F1 weekend, choice of hotels and rooms was limited unless you were willing to pay the high prices, which I was not. So I quickly grabbed the room that was offered and only realised after I checked in that it was windowless! I've never stayed in a room without windows and it felt strange. The room I had was very small, but I guess it was adequate for 2 nights and I was going to be out most of the time anyway. Thankfully Starbucks across the road opens at 7.30 so I didn't have to hang around in the windowless room for too long after getting up. What I did not like was the way the toilet bowl was positioned. I was just about able to sit comfortably on the toilet. A tall person would have a problem sitting on the toilet. I only had just over an inch between my knees and the wall and it was very awkward when sitting down on or getting up from the toilet. Staff were friendly, the lobby area is beautiful. I had a few hours in between appointments in the afternoon and I sat in the lobby and caught up with my reading - since there wasn't a chair or table in my little windowless room. So that was fine. All in all, if I had a choice, I would probably select a larger room - perhaps next time!

Aura was wonderful. Not only is there a gorgeous lounge area, we were met with a clean and comfortable room with complimentary drinks. The service staff were commendable, lending us chargers and most notably, Yan Ling assisted us well with our check out. We are so grateful!

One more day in this Hotel: The hotel is newly renovated, with friendly and patient front desk staff, including Ling and a Malaysian colleague, who provide service with a smile in Mandarin, English, and Cantonese. The international atmosphere is impressive. I requested a quieter environment, and overall the experience was very good. Although the room had no windows, it was acceptable. The hotel is clean, and the lobby is suitable for work and socializing. At night, the front desk staff on duty is also very kind and helpful. In Chinatown’s excellent location, a hotel stands out for two things: service and cleanliness. Aura Opera House clearly has both. People who work and live with dedication will always be rewarded. I wish the business great success and look forward to returning. 因為居住環境好，所以續住一晚: 酒店全新裝修，前臺阿玲和馬來西亞哥們態度友善，熱情，耐心，微笑服務，中文，英文，廣東話三語服務，國際化程度高。我特意需求更加安靜的環境，整體體驗非常好，因為房間無窗戶，但是也可以接受。衛生整潔，大廳適合工作與交流。夜晚的時候，值班的前臺好哥們也很友善，態度非常好。在中國城Chinatown這樣一個絕佳的地理位置，一間酒店的勝出有兩點，第一是服務，第二是衛生。顯然，Aura Opera House 全都具備，認真工作做事，認真生活的人，一定會得到回報。祝願生意興隆，下次再會。
