Value Hotel Thomson Singapore

Felt bit pricey but not that worth actually. Superior plus room and superior double room is of same size. Aircon not that cooling enough too

The facility is below expectations,the breakfast is below expectations,the attitude of staff is below expectations

Room is super small like typical singapore hotels, shower cap is malfunctioning and a few other broken amenities. barely had space to move in the toilet. hotel is 10 min walk to novena mrt and has 2 bus stops nearby.

One of the worst hotels I've come across in my stays here. I think to book a stay here usually means I'm looking for a quick night's stay to crash but even so, the basic needs likr cleanliness is lacking. Multiple stains on sheets, spider on the bed, short curly hair left behind in shower drain, headboard was dusty. The heater was weird and had random bursts of crazily hot water mid-shower. I thought no-window rooms are usually slightly quieter but no.. The soundproofing was so bad, everything along the corridor could be heard. At $120+ a night and under WWH, I expected better. Won't return again.

Very convenient to stay here and alot of foods around the hotel

Had a bad experience with aircond, felt warm at 3am. Called reception and they gave me a immediate room change. But unfortunately another room came with smells from bathroom drainage hole.

Good location with many eatries around it...room was so so..luckily reception allow for room change as the aircon was not cold

The aircond in our first room wasn’t working - we called reception once to report this, then walked down to the lobby twice to follow up, waiting in the stuffy room for someone to check the A/C, and only after 45 minutes got a call to say that the serviceman was going for a break. It was only at this point they offered us a different room. The room floor was also unswept with dust and bits of metal all over. Window sheers were unwashed and stained. But the beds were reasonably clean and comfortable. The room we switched to had a working A/C and a clean floor, but this time the toilet had a terrible stench. Again reported this to the reception where they suggested providing an air freshener, but as expected no follow up was done. Just had to hold our breaths every time we visited the toilet. Location and rooms are ok for the price, plus there is a gym and swimming pool, but basic cleanliness, A/C, and guest service left much to be desired. Wouldn’t be staying again.

Okay la not bad for a short staycay to relax.
