The accommodation is close to many attractions. The staff at the front desk are very welcoming. If I ever come here again, I'll definitely stay here.

I was grateful that they allowed me to store my luggage early in the morning on the day of my stay. They also quickly translated their language into Japanese using a tablet, which was a huge help. There was a bottle of water in the room and a water dispenser at the entrance. The shampoo made my hair feel a bit stiff, so I highly recommend bringing your own shampoo and conditioner. Only bath towels were provided, no loungewear. The staff kindly told me about a breakfast spot right in front of the hotel. Their most popular kaya toast, with sweet jam and savory butter, was delicious. I walked from the hotel to the Merlion, which took about 20 minutes. The MRT was also convenient, affordable, and easy to use. Although I could hear car horns, the hotel's location for sightseeing was excellent, so it's a 'yes' from me. Toothbrushes were provided, but no toiletries like lotions. I had to walk up the stairs to my room.

The hotel's location is excellent, right in Chinatown and very close to Chinatown MRT station, just a five-minute walk away. The rooms are indeed old; you can smell a musty odor as soon as you enter the hallway and the room. It seems to have been renovated at some point, but that doesn't completely mask the smell. However, the prime location outweighs this drawback. From here, you can easily take the MRT to pretty much anywhere you want to go. I wouldn't recommend it for families with children, but it's a good choice for solo travelers or couples. The staff were all very friendly.
