We had a great stay at JJH. Location was good, staff were friendly. The only con was hot water not working properly

!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS: Absolutely terrible and incredibly filthy. Dust everywhere, and everything is run down. Descriptions on several platforms claimed a triple room was 27 square meters, but it was actually only 13 square meters (the hotel admitted this themselves, and I've submitted video evidence to the platform). You can imagine how three people would fit in there. The photos online are completely misleading; the reality is nothing like them. The hotel first blamed the platform, then claimed it was 'corporate-level' misinformation. There was a lot of hair and dust on the headboard, the remote control was disgusting, and there were no slippers or small soaps. Three people had to share two rinse cups. The gap between the two beds was extremely narrow; if you wanted to open a 20-inch carry-on, there would be no space left in the room to stand. The bathroom was tiny, about 2 square meters, and as soon as you opened the door, a strong urine smell hit you. There was no ventilation in the bathroom or the room itself; the vents and bedside lamps were just for show. There was no power adapter, and the Indonesian lady at the front desk said it cost 5 SGD to rent one for a day, even though the same adapter only costs 2 SGD to buy. In short, there was absolutely no service to speak of. This is an infuriating and fraudulent hotel. Chinese travelers, avoid this place at all costs!!!!

Fair location，in the middle of Bigis and Lavender MRT station Old Building Newly renovated，still have strong odor of paintings Lots of Ants in the bathroom I booked for windows room but they assigned me a bigger room with no windows，then I insisted to change to a windows room Right next to the temple Loud praying at 6am and 3pm everyday

The worst hotel stay ever. Hotel is under renovation and strong paint smell everywhere, had to open window to breath.The worst part is we found cockroach in the bathroom. Additionally, the sockets plug are located at weird place, one is near to the ceiling, one is down near to the floor. The mattress seem pretty old that was not firm and we sinked inside the mattress. Toilet seat cover keep falling on my back while using toilet When asked reception for a room change, the receptionist (it was a guy, didn’t get his name though) said that all full unless we top-up to 3 pax room. He also said that we can feedback to Trip.come but their hotel management does really care about the feedback. Terrible service & lousy hotel.

The best location is only 200 meters to the Sultan Mosque, close to various halal shops and also Haji Lane, the room condition is ok but the toilet is not clean and the mini bar is not clean, mineral water is not topped up even though we stayed here for 3 nights. Sometimes there is noise from the room nearby. The toilet is not satisfactory. The Chinese man at the front desk is not friendly with the guests. Lokasi terbaik hanya 200 meter ke Masjid Sultan, berdekatan dengan pelbagai kedai halal dan juga Haji Lane, keadaan bilik ok cumanya tandas kurang bersih dan mini bar tidak bersih, mineral water tidak di top up walaupun menginap 3 malam di sini. Kadangkala terdengar bunyi bising dari bilik berhampiran. Tandas kurang memuaskan. Lelaki China di front desk tidak mesra dengan tetamu.

*AVOID AT ALL COSTS* - Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, cockroach infestation, rude staff, small and dingy and very dirty. Whatever you do pay a little extra to go somewhere where you won’t be sleeping with cockroaches. I was badly bitten by these cockroaches and turned into a bad infection. Stay away from this hotel, it has been reported to the Singapore tourism board.

Cheap place to stay for people who want a solo room and own toilet and bath. Place is a bit too small so good enough for only one person. Did not have laundry area as I expected.Hotel provided towels, basic toiletries and some coffee.

Don't ever dismiss hotel reviews that mention cockroaches or other insects. I learned my lesson by experiencing it myself.Immediately after that, I packed my bags and checked out. Expressing a negative experience and warning others against booking a hotel based on negative reviews that involve harmful content is not possible.The only good thing was that the staff were very cooperative.

It's perfect to stay alone in expensive Singapore. kind staff, clean room and good location to get ecerywhere! If I come to Singapore next time, I'm surely be back here again. Thanks a lot for 3nigjts I was there!

Great location. Walking distance to MRT Lavender & Bugis Junction stations, bus stations too. Lots of eatery nearby. Double Room is slightly small, hardly to place an open baggage. Bathroom is small too , massage heater is an added value .

The room was small, old, and a bit dirty. But since the price was cheap and the location was good, I would rate it as average

Overall stay was okay. The hotel has a good location, very convenient for getting around. The room was comfortable, although we experienced a leakage issue. Thankfully, the staff responded quickly and solved it efficiently. Good service.
