Paradox Singapore Merchant Court at Clarke Quay

Everything was excellent! The lobby staff were incredibly patient and attentive. I forgot to check their name tags, but they were so nice and even helped me book a bus ticket to Kuala Lumpur. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time. Oh, and the bed was super comfy!

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Clarke Quay, making it a great choice if you want to take a stroll or grab a beer. I highly recommend their swimming pool; it's fantastic! 👍🏻

The hotel was exceptionally clean! It's very close to Clarke Quay and the MRT station is just 200 meters away, making it super convenient for getting around. The front desk staff were also very attentive and friendly! The rooms were clean and comfortable. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!

The hotel gym is huge and absolutely amazing! It's divided into three sections: one for strength training machines and treadmills, another for Smith machines and free weights. Upstairs, there's a cycling and yoga area. The equipment variety is impressive. The second-floor pool offers a nice view, with panoramic sights of Clarke Quay. The rooms are quite spacious; you can easily open two large suitcases with plenty of room to spare. We even received oranges and red envelopes during our Chinese New Year stay. Just a heads-up: when you exit the MRT station, make sure to follow the signs in the corridor. I went the wrong way the first time and ended up walking almost a full circle!

I stayed for two nights. The first night, I was given a corner room with a view of Singapore's streets. The 1.2m wide bed was very comfortable. The second night, I moved to a standard room with no view, and the 1m wide bed was okay. The air conditioning was very strong, so it got a bit cold at night. The hotel's central location is very convenient, right next to the MRT station, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. Overall, it was a pretty good stay!

The air conditioning was on full blast 24/7, yet it couldn't mask the strong, unpleasant smell. The location is indeed great, right by Clarke Quay and just 100 meters from the MRT station. Other than that, there's absolutely nothing positive to say. Despite their best efforts to clean, the facilities are incredibly old. Even the shower water kept fluctuating between scalding hot and freezing cold, making every shower a constant battle to avoid getting burned. The breakfast offered a good variety, but the taste was just average, though the tea was quite nice.

This hotel is great! We had a city view from our window, and the room was clean, tidy, spacious, and new – a real find in a city as expensive as Singapore! The breakfast was fantastic, a definite highlight! The front desk service was also excellent. My only complaint is about a Chinese chef at the breakfast noodle station who had a terrible attitude. I asked for two bowls of noodles (just a bit of noodles and one shrimp each), and he kept huffing and puffing while confirming my order, acting as if I was bothering him. That kind of attitude is just asking for a complaint!
