We booked a big room with a sofa and a swing as u can see in the picture but we were given a smaller room without a sofa and swing but I didn't complain anyway because we got a clean room and fast no Hussle check in those missing items don't really matter.

A nice and simple hotel located in the charming and laid back Joo Chiat enclave. The hotel is decent and clean, room is a good size with a big bathroom. Although it is a 15 mins from the nearest MRT station, all amenities are nearby A Hotel 😀

Room and bathroom full of mould! Absolutely disgusting, will report to the relevant department. Be aware of this place!

By stroke of luck (un-luck), I was given the end of the hall room. It was located next to the landry room so the whole night it felt like someone beside you was demolishing the building under construction. The room was small (normal for Singapore i guess) and the washroom was even smaller (normal for Tokyo I guess). Strangely, the window 's blinds are actually OUTSIDE of the window, so you have to first open the window and then adjust the blinds, Which still you cannot really open if fully. Not much else to say about this hotel experience... oh, becareful as there is another hotel across the street with a very similar name as this one, so don't get them mixed up (hint: that one waS WAY BETTER looking, at least from the outside).

I have been here several times before. Apart from the occasional loud sound of closing of doors from the other guests and the electronic chimes produced from opening and closing of doors which were a little annoying, the rest were acceptable for a short stay. Thank you.

Room is clean and big

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 I had an absolutely amazing stay at A Hotel Joo Chiat. From the moment I arrived, the owner and staff gave me the warmest welcome. They are incredibly friendly, always smiling, and always greeting you whenever you come in or go out. Their hospitality alone already makes this place special. The cleanliness is perfect—truly one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Every single corner of the building is spotless, and my room was kept in excellent condition throughout my stay. The toilet is also extremely clean, and I loved the refreshing smell of the shampoo and body wash. The wall-mounted dispensers are convenient and easy to use as well. The location on Joo Chiat Road is fantastic. Just a short walk outside and you’ll find so many great places to eat, and even several specialty coffee shops along the street. It’s a lively area, but still very safe and comfortable to walk around day and night. For the price, the quality you get is unbelievable. It’s hard to find a hotel with this level of cleanliness, friendliness, and comfort at such an affordable rate. Truly great value. Overall, I loved everything about this hotel. Highly recommended, and I would definitely stay here again!

Tv can’t be watch… housekeeping waited for 3h still not yet done… in the end I only request to change the towel

Nice good value for money small hotel located at the geylang serai end of joo chiat road, near bus stops and MRT station. Comfortable bed and clean room. Friendly reception staff.

The hotel is clean and nearby have foods but during night time the fire alarm system was down and none of the staff explaining the situation and comforting guest, the emergency exit was locked which is the worst thing. Hopefully the hotel will improve their security system and management.

Affordable hotel in the lovely neighbourhood of Joo Chiat with great accessibility thanks to the bus stops nearby. Nothing fancy but clean, enjoyed having a fridge and a kettle for breakfast in the morning.
