The hotel is close to the train station,and walking distance to the center. Confortable rooms, eventhough the bathroom was not ensuite, the shared bathrooms were clean Good breakfast buffet style The down side was that we have to pay for the storage of the luggage (5€)

All good things to say about this property: a 3 block walk from the train station! This is a must since Sintra can be a very hilly place to stay. A flat, 10 minute walk to the historic center of Sintra/National Palace. Rented a private room that included private bath + all linens. Amazing views (of either the National Palace, Pena Palace and/or the Moorish Castle, all high in the hills) with windows that opened for fresh air but were also sound proof w/ thick curtains for the light. The mattresses were seriously the MOST COMFORTABLE throughout my stay in Portugal! Room was as large as hotel rooms I stayed in throughout the country also + bathroom had a spacious shower! A lot of space to lounge e.g. outdoor courtyard, inside, or at the on-site restaurant. Private rooms are in separate wing (as is the dorm) w/ ~5 other rooms so be prepared for the doors slamming, but no excessive noise thankfully and it was quiet at night. Staff was so friendly and helpful with local information! Sometimes you go to a place where they cannot make recommendations. We left our bags @ the hostel before catching the train, and they were locked in a secure area unlike some hostels. This was the best deal and will certainly return.

Unrivalled location. Our private room had a view over Castelo dos Mouros and National Palace. A couple of minutes walk from the train station and the historic centre, but without the noise. Still, keep in mind that this is a hostel and not a boutique hotel, so the place is missing some of the niceties of more expensive accommodations. Good value but keep your expectations in check.

The hostel was super clean and very nicely decorated! It had a great space to hang out and a super nice patio! The room was a bit small, but the bed was incredibly comfortable and had a good storage space for luggage which could be locked. The bathroom was very clean and big! The internet took a little while to connect but once it did it was fast and reliable. The location was also great!

Very bad in my opinion. First the room smells musty. In a two-star hostel, it may not be spectacular, but at least the bathroom is comfortable. I give it a 0 (no towels, no shower gels/soaps, and there are lots of dirty marks all over the place. Nowadays, there are products that can remove this as long as you have the courage to do so. The only thing I liked was the comfort of the mattress and the hot water that I could use to shower because I had a towel with me.

I am writing as a victim of overbooking. I booked a room for my family for 4 + breakfast in March 2024 for August 2024. Today, August 4, the hotel sends me 2 emails at 12:06 with a welcome message saying that they are waiting for us to check in. At 4 pm we show up for check-in and they tell us without any warning that they don't have the rooms. They offer us another hotel with worse conditions and we refuse of course. The reservation was on NON-REFUNDABLE BOOKING but payment was on arrival. So they tell us: we haven't taken your money yet, so now we'll cancel the reservation and you can go somewhere else and pay more. We don't pay anything for you. A long discussion begins and I faint, probably because I'm nervous, the hotel calls an ambulance and I spend the evening at the hospital with my son who was celebrating his birthday today. My son makes numerous calls from the hospital but nothing is resolved and then I also call back when I recover from the hospital and they tell me - we found you something but you have to pay more. The local police say that nothing can be done when my son goes to file the complaint. It is 11 pm we are looking for a place to sleep. DO NOT GO TO THIS FACILITY!
