The host is very nice and hospitable, and the room is very big. You can choose your own breakfast in the hotel and the boss can make it first. The Omlet made by the proprietress and the oatmeal baked by herself are very, very delicious.

Emsie and Carl made me feel welcome and were there to help if needed. . Room spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped with kettle, fridge and microwave. Large shower. Private balconies with lovely view. Good breakfasts and choices. Carl also happy to act as driver and tour guide. Good base for my stay.

If you are looking for modern and comfortable accomodation close to Somerset West, the Cape Town Internationalk Airport, the Strand, and easy access to the N2 and R44, this is it! Somerset View has the location, the bright and clean rooms, delicious breakfasts, and the best service and views you can imagine!! I stayed there in October, and immediately booked again for a business trip in December.

Karel and Emsie where the ultimate hosts. Nothing was a problem for them. It was a real home from home experience and the 1st time I used a "disabled room" that was 100% disabled friendly from being able to park right in front of your room door to lights that come on automatically in the bathroom. Fantastic! The room was very neat and tidy and has everything you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast selection is also absolutely amazing and very yummy! Wow, i really enjoyed my stay. Carl and Emsie are so friendly and helpful. From collecting us from the airport to the absolutely delicious food that Emsie makes. The rooms are lovely, comfortable and clean. It is exactly like the photos advertised. If you are looking for affordable accommodation with an unforgettable stay, then this place is it. Emsie makes the best breakfast hands down.

The room was modern, clean and very comfortable. Filtered water, coffee and tea provided in the room. Microwave in the room. Lovely breakfast. Friendly and accommodating hosts.
