Wonderful resort, amazing food. The staff are amazingly friendly, especially the best barman Vasilis working the tropical bar. The resort is child friendly, great food for adults and kids. A great team working in the restaurant, the apartments the grounds. Always happy to help and smiling. Thanks guys for an amazing stay, can’t wait to come back.

We had a fantastic week at Vasia Resort & Spa and our overall experience was excellent! The hotel is beautifully located near the charming village of Sissi, offering stunning sea views and a relaxing atmosphere. Our room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with impeccable daily housekeeping. The food was fresh and delicious, with plenty of variety, and the facilities – especially the pools and spa – provided the perfect setting for rest and rejuvenation. The staff throughout the hotel were kind, attentive, and always ready to help. One small observation: while the hotel offers excursions through the reception, we also noticed several local travel agencies and car rental offices just outside the resort. These local providers have a deep knowledge of the area and can offer visitors a more authentic and enriching experience. Supporting them also helps strengthen the local economy and community. We highly encourage future guests to step outside the hotel and explore the nearby village and surroundings. Get to know the locals, visit the small shops and family-run tavernas, and enjoy the true spirit of Crete. Most locals speak English and are very welcoming – it's a wonderful way to make your holiday even more memorable. All in all, Vasia Resort & Spa offers high-quality accommodation and hospitality, and we would absolutely love to return. Highly recommended!

I’ve just returned from a wonderful holiday at Vasia Resort & Spa in Sissi, Crete, and I honestly can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The staff at Vasia are truly outstanding. We were greeted with genuine smiles and helpfulness at every turn. Whether it was the reception team, restaurant staff, or the cleaners, everyone made us feel special and at home. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their attention to detail was impressive. Our room was spacious, spotless, and had a lovely balcony with a view of the sea. The resort itself is beautifully maintained, with several pools to choose from (including a quieter adults-only pool and fun water slides for kids). Everything was always clean and inviting. The food was definitely a highlight. There was a great variety every day, from fresh salads and local Cretan dishes to international favourites. We especially enjoyed the themed nights and the à la carte restaurant, which made for a special evening out. The drinks menu was extensive, and the cocktails by the pool were a real treat. The spa was a real treat after a day in the sun—highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind. There were also plenty of activities on offer, from fitness classes to tennis, and the kids’ club kept the little ones entertained and happy. Sissi is a charming village, and the resort is just a short walk from the harbour and local shops. It’s peaceful but well-placed for exploring Crete if you want to venture out. Overall, our stay at Vasia Resort & Spa was fantastic. The combination of wonderful staff, great food, lovely rooms, and excellent facilities made for a truly memorable holiday. We left feeling relaxed, well looked after, and already planning our next visit!

I have been twice, solo then couple trip. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, clean, good food great variety. Perfect for kids, young , adults and older people. The staff are amazing and friendly. I made some friends who even remembered me the next year. The room was spacious and if anything broke they fixed it immediately. The only part that isn’t great is the entertainment ends quite early in the evening. The area is beautiful and quiet. If you want a party area it’s not here, it is lovely. Prices in local restaurants attractions are so very reasonable. The excursions you can go on and well priced and amazing adventure and make great memories. I would highly recommend. We had a wonderful time here, the staff is super nice and welcoming. Especially thanks to the amazing bartender Vassilis at the tropical bar. He was so nice and thoughtful and always made us smile. We will be back in the future. The food was also very nice.

Hotel was very clean. Staff exceptionally friendly. Pool area cramped and very busy. Lack of sunbeds and a lot of broken ones. Food really nice although could feel repetitive. Entertainment a bit poor. Had to get on a minibus for a beach but when there, beach was fabulous. Overall, we would go to this hotel again.
