FIELD -The farmhouse is located in the heart of the Skagit River Valley, home to some of the most beautiful and fertile fields in the Pacific Northwest. You can visit daffodil and tulip fields in spring, many family owned vegetable, berry, or flower farms in the summer months, pumpkin patches and cideries in Autumn, and the world renown fields full of snow geese and trumpeter swans in winter. SEA - In addition to floating the river (there is a put-in a few miles north of the farmhouse), the house is also just 20 minutes from Anacortes, the small seaside town from which you can catch a ferry to the stunning San Juan islands or a whale watching charter if you're so inclined. If beach walks are what you’re after, explore all 7 of the state parks bordered by the Salish sea, home to orcas, sea birds, pacific salmon, and abundant sea life, all within 10-40 minutes of the house.
