Travelodge Skipton
8.3 (43 reviews)

Travelodge Skipton ★★★

📍 Gargrave Road A65 / A59 Roundabout, Stirton with Thorlby

"We stayed here one night with friends to go to a Music Night in Skipton The staff here were very welcoming and friendly. It is an ideal stop for Skipton just off the A59 and only about 5 minutes back into Skipton itself. The room was large and very clean. The beds were very comfortable Also it was a good price. We will certainly stay here again for an overnight in Skipton"

The Lister Arms
9.1 (95 reviews)

The Lister Arms ★★★★

📍 Lister arms, Skipton, Malham

"Very, very nice country hotel. The accommodation is comfortable and the breakfast is delicious. Insufficient: 1. The electric kettle is made of plastic rather than stainless steel. 2. We ate three breakfasts, maybe the chef made different breakfast standards are also different: the first day, enough; The second and three days, the amount was halved, my husband ordered a "full set of English breakfast" and I ordered "smoked salmon eggs", "smoked salmon eggs", bread, eggs, salmon from two to one."

YHA Malham
8.5 (17 reviews)

YHA Malham ★★★★

📍 Malham, Malham

"it's a great location , near the cove and the local pubs.. my score would be a 3.5 it's just not for me , lovely people / service .. my room was just too hot , ended up sleeping on the floor and not sure if it was the next rooms sink/shower but it was so loud everytime it was used... I expected most of the quirks because it was a hostel experience but for me everything felt slightly overpriced and maybe during the summer months have a fan hire option."

Herriots Hotel
8.6 (101 reviews)

Herriots Hotel ★★★★

📍 Broughton Rd, Skipton

"Nice hotel"

Black Horse Hotel
8.9 (74 reviews)

Black Horse Hotel ★★★

📍 4 Garrs Lane, Grassington

"Reservations required, especially on Mondays and Tuesdays when they have a reduced staff. Food was very good, with a surprisingly wide menu selection. My wife had fish and chips but I ventured into a salmon and prawn linguine which was very good. Good drink and wine selection- not just beers. Would recommend."

The Railway
9.0 (83 reviews)

The Railway ★★★

📍 10 Cavendish St, Skipton

"Excellent friendly hotel - free on road parking - superb cuisine - spotlessly clean - amazing staff with special mention for Josh - good selection of drinks and comfortable rooms - all good Would highly recommend"

Grassington Lodge
7.9 (80 reviews)

Grassington Lodge ★★★★

📍 8 Wood Ln, Skipton, Grassington

"The room was on the third floor, which might be a bit inconvenient if you have a lot of luggage. It wasn't huge but was clean and tidy. The Wi-Fi signal wasn't great; videos would buffer a few times, but sending and receiving emails was fine. It's very close to the town's scenic spots. Of course, the town is quite small, so it seems unnecessary to stay more than one night."

The Woolly Sheep Inn
9.1 (100 reviews)

The Woolly Sheep Inn ★★★★

📍 38 Sheep St, Skipton

"Located in the center of the town. Easy to play. The rooms are quiet and comfortable."

Maypole Inn
8.3 (45 reviews)

Maypole Inn ★★★

📍 Main St, Long Preston

"Nice village pub / old coaching inn with rooms. Very comfortable room with all necessary facilities. Nice evening  food and excellent breakfast. Decent range of beers on tap."

Premier Inn Skipton North (Gargrave) Hotels in Skipton

Premier Inn Skipton North (Gargrave)

"Having read the previous reviews we were very worried about our 3 night stay here. Oh my days it was utterly brilliant. We had one of the recently decorated and updated rooms and it was amazing. The hotel itself is absolutely fine , I don't really know what others expected . The staff are amongst the friendliest and most helpful we've experienced. Always a cheery hello . The room was fab , we liked not having the big desk but most of all on the hottest may bank holiday weekend ever we loved the a/c... never have we loved a/c so much. It kept us and the room beautifully cool. I just about forgive them for removing my favourite curved shower curtain because the shower is still awesome . We didnt eat on site but went to the local village coming back for a cold diet coke outside on the benches. To be able to walk alongside the canal was a trip highlight we didn't expect. Overall our favourite stay in premier inn and we have stayed in loads."

The Sett on the Wharfe Hotels in Skipton

The Sett on the Wharfe

"Stayed here for two nights and had an excellent time , the setting was beautiful and had everything you could want. Flapjack on arrival was a treat absolutely amazing 😋 The Breakfast was a great experience and arrived at 9.30 as expected and was fantastic, fresh juice , fruit compote & bacon and egg baps fuelled us for the whole day. Took the river walk from there to Burnsall which was a great walk and even took a swim in the river ( with the towels included for this 😄 ) Cannot wait to return 🤞"

"Ideal location to visit Skipton and to travel onwards into the Dales and Lake District. The staff in reception were welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, I had chosen a room which looked out onto the main road so obviously had some noise during the day but at night there was very little,it keep didn’t keep me awake."
