Natura Luxury Boutique Hotel Skopelos

Skopelos|0.14km from Glossa Port
Stayed here for 4 days as a base to visit the ‘MamaMia’ film locations. It’s a superb boutique hotel. Clean, contemporary with a real laid back, chilled, spa vibe. It’s conveniently located a few minutes strolled from Glossa port and amenities. You can take your breakfast, which is buffet and had an extensive choice, right next to the water. Dinner is also served here but we opted to try the local tavernas. Our room was on the front and had a balcony with full sea view. It also had a very unique open plan bathroom which I really liked. Pool is on the top floor, it’s infinity style with gorgeous views. Two deep steps to enter at one end (I did fall in on the first day using these but didn’t hurt myself) and gradual steps at the other end which I opted to use thereafter. The pool offers fabulous views across the bay, has plenty of sun loungers and shaded seating areas to enjoy a drink, respite from the sun or some light bites. I must mention Georgia who works poolside. She was happy, attentive and always greeted us with a smile. I don’t know if it’s because we were outside peak season but we felt like the pool was just ours. Hardly anyone else there. Now I must mention the wonderful reception team of Elena, Nicholas and Yiorgos. They simply could not do enough for us. From before we had even arrived they offered a private water taxi for us from Skiathos. And arranged this for us. Were there to meet us at the port and help with our luggage - even though it was a two minute walk they picked us up in the mini bus. From explaining all about the island and where to visit, organising a shuttle to the hotels newly opened Beach Club Paraiso (see separate review - a must visit) taxis to allow us to visit the MamaMia church before the crowds, and help with bus timetable. They are probably the most friendly, helpful reception team I have ever come across in all my years of travelling! Overall a fabulous experience. It’s hard to find fault with anything but a few things that would be the cherry on top of the cake: 1. Consider opening the pool to guests before 11am - say 10am 2. Offer guests a welcome drink upon arrival - we had been travelling for over 14 hours when we arrived 3. Fabric softener for towels which were a little crispy. Great for drying but not so good on sun kissed skin. These are not complaints, just an opportunity for an even better experience. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and would love to go back. Thank you for a great holiday.

A lovely small hotel with the best employees, and especially Elena, the manager! The view from the room was outstanding, the pool was lovely and the beach just in front of the hotel, with free sunbeds, was gorgeous! We stayed in a Panorama suite and it was big, clean, newly renovated and had two balconies. The wifi was superb and the breakfast had what you needed. Some minor things around the pool and beach area that could be taken care of, like to get rid of the grass between the sunbeds and fix some planks on the pool deck. The shower at the pool area could also need some love. But it is overall a lovely little hotel in a lovely location! We hope to be back!
