I really don’t know how this hotel has a 4 star rating. There is no kettle in the rooms, no access to drinking water, rooms aren’t cleaned every day and the food is mediocre. Our room had flaked paint from the woodwork on the floor on arrival, the room wasn’t hoovered at all in the week we stayed, although the bathroom was cleaned and towels replaced. On our last day, my daughter found a large hair in her omelette. Only one mentally staff appeared friendly , the rest were reserved to the point of being rude. The pillows on our beds were lumpy and unsuitable, although we did get replacements when we asked. Snacks were not varied or enticing, we were all inclusive. The hotel is literally miles from anywhere, which does provide a secluded beach, however with no access to drinking water it is limiting. My daughter walked to the village of Slano, and bought bottled water. The walk takes around an hour all in. During our stay we went on the island cruise, good value and very enjoyable. However, hotel staff seemed annoyed they had to book it for us. Payment is cash only. We also went to Montenegro on a day trip, booked via Jet2 . This is definitely worth doing. The beach is stunning, but the extremely uncomfortable sun loungers were awful! No cushions or covers available. All on, a beautiful setting somewhat tempered by a mediocre hotel experience.

Me and my partner booked this as a last minute get away. We were happy that we found a 4* for a what appears to be a reasonable price in a country we wanted to visit. However when we arrived it soon became clear that this was not a 4* establishment or service even when the package cost just over £700pp (and the fact this increases later in the year is terrible). we are clearly not the only people that think this based on trip-adviser and hearing other people in the hotel. Quite frankly we have stayed in better 2 stars than hotel osmine. We requested a hotel move as soon as we checked in for reasons that I outline later but where told that our rep would contact us and the reasons we were upset was dismissed. We spoke with Toni (jet 2 rep) the day after arrival he was very understanding and considerate of why we were upset. He explained that there would be a massive price increase to move hotel which we where not happy to pay on top of an already expensive last minute trip. He arranged for us to move rooms however this did not help our overall situation. We even thought about going home early however managed to scrape through for the week. Pros- nice views and room clean. Dubrovnik Center very cool if you manage to make your way there (however extremely expensive). Cons- 1. No cocktails included in all inclusive a simple “sex on the beach” was an extra charge. No drinks such as gin and tonic. 2. There was no air conditioning working in our room. When we asked reception about this they said that it was not hot enough yet to turn it on. Multiple nights we did not sleep due to high temperatures in the room. Which for a 4 star is ridiculous. Air conditioning should be a standard for a 4* 3. Staff often rude and unhelpful. And made you feel like a burden when asking about anything. 4. Soft drinks poor- unbranded and not nice tasting, Coffee also poor- when machines were working and wines undrinkable. Tiny glasses given with drinks- beer possibly a quarter pint? And soft drinks even less than that. 5. No iron or coffee & tea making facilities which for a 4* should be a given. States that there is a TV in the room however there is absolutely no English’s channels and subtitles did not come on. No way of connecting phone to stream or use personal streaming service. 6. Lunch and dinner only available 2 hours at a time making meal times very busy and very restrictive of when you can eat. 7. Food was very poor in general (mains one night turkey nugget’s and fried shark). 8. Snacks during the day were served at 16:30 (usually chips, fish and fruit) however this would be overrun with people and service would stop if food ran out which it did most days and meant waiting in a line for 20 minutes at times. Evening snacks served at 2300 however very little choice and at times this was removed at 23:30 9. The one and only place you could get a drink during the day was the pool bar which was a 15 minute walk from the rooms therefore having a balcony

Fantastic little hotel, it’s a hidden gem if you like quietness. Food was delicious and such a beautiful and clean hotel. Beach is amazing and very quiet. Take your shoes for the sea, some lovely fish. We will be back. A great stay, thank you. Rob & Sally Belton

Super stay at Osmine. Room & restaurant lovely. Food amazing & staff good. Only negatives were we felt the 'All Inclusive Booze' was bashed out by staff reluctantly ie) thrown together no care asthough they frowned on it but they might have experienced difficult customers so understable. Think Gin & TONIC was pretty much always Gin & LEMONADE!&in small glass sometimes no ice or lemon! Wines tasted ok but red being cold a bit bitter unless added orange juice to make a Sangria! These are silly small things Walked 30min around stunning water out of hotel & left to pick up no.12 bus to Dubrovnik at €3.70 each single & 30min ride. Downloaded LIBERTAS APP for times&location back. No 15 bus cancelled from Dubrovnik then it delayed so we waited 90min so 12 seems most reliable & cheaper than the €25 each in taxi from hotel & they need 6 passengers to able to go so you pop your name down & wait! Swimming pool very small but took sunbeds by sea&got a free parasol each from lovely guy in office by bar who hands them out aswell as bikes&kayaks ⛱️ Swam in the beautiful clear waters aswell as took free kayak out for free hour.‍♀️ Cycled for an hour free too out of hotel & left to find bus stop for next days trip! Again really fun & good bikes. Stunning views at Osmine & well worth a visit but its 30min walk as I say to a tiny town out the hotel&left. On day 1 asked for more pillows & a second duvet as found theres small & was delivered very quick so very comfy stay

We went as a family of four. Our rooms were perfect, comfortable & very clean. All of the staff were friendly & helpful. The food (breakfast, lunch & dinner) was fantastic with loads of excellent choices. The location is absolutely beautiful with free use of pedalloes & kayaks on the picturesque bay. We had a boat trip from the hotel to Dubrovnik & back which was the highlight of our brilliant holiday at the Hotel Osmine, Slano.

Quiet hotel nearing end of season. Peaceful location, very clean throughout, superior rooms lovely, lacking kettle and tea/coffee making facilities, but big balcony area and great view. Entertainment very basic and not for me. Food area very clean, bit basic but you can get buy, lovely salad choices daily, breakfast probably best meal. Not many in hotel so loads of sunbeds, tables/chairs etc by pool and on beach. Pool cold but lovely once you get in. Alcohol not great, g&t about the best or a beer in my opinion. For what i paid was pleased and it was only a 5 night break for R&R.

We stayed at the Hotel Osmine for 10 days from the 16/09/2024. The hillside location of the hotel was excellent with it’s stunning surrounding areas which were clean and well cared for including the restaurant and pool area. Restaurant food was exceptional and varied and the friendly staff worked tirelessly clearing and cleaning. The beer and wine at the three bars were an acceptable standard too. The superior sea view room we opted for was clean and had a view across the bay into the distant hills that was fit for a millionaire. There was a pleasant walk to Slano that will take you around 25 minutes and the absence of litter was noticeable particularly along the shore line of the beaches. The walk takes you through a small village with 3 restaurants leading to the centre of Slano then onto a new marina ending up at a small church. This is also well lit at night. Boat trips are available to see the nearby islands, also there is one to Dubrovnik which departs and returns to a convenient jetty at the side of the bay that is a short walk from the hotel. Organised group taxis to Dubrovnik through the hotel reception are available too. Pros Excellent choice of food must haves for us were the ribs, lamb, and beef Stunning views Litter free surrounding areas Scenic boat trips around the islands and to Dubrovnik Pleasant walks Wide range of activities Free use of Pedalos, kayaks, bikes, and paddle board Cons If there’s rain at the start of the day the pool bar isn’t opened and remains shut even if the weather improves. The lounge bar is some way from the pool being situated at the front of the hotel.

Well I've finally left this place and I have never felt so happy to be going back from holiday. I'll try and keep this as positive as I can but it won't be easy Room - OK, basic and nice views. Cleaned when required but they kept leaving doors open. AC was a joke, 25.4 without it 25.1 with it on full. Curtains didn't do much to block out the light, even a street lamp, I could walk around my room at 1am with the curtains pulled and see everything. Entertainment- rarely saw daytime entertainment, evening entertainment usually lasted of 15mins doing a quiz or bingo then they'd put a play list on Swimming pool - big one was small and cold, no chance of doing lengths, kids pool was empty Staff - other than the friendly guy on the beach, I never had a positive encounter with a staff member, usually just grunts if they bothered to look up from their phones. I asked reception about arranging a taxi, the response was you need to arrange this yourself, not very helpful. Food - I started with high hopes, the first meal I had here was nice, then I only had 1 nice meal after that, on 2 separate days I didn't venture far from a toilet. Drinks were acceptable. Every day they seemed to try and find new parts of an animal to serve you The view is amazing, but there is nothing to do in the hotel, reception won't get you a taxi and the nearest place is about 2miles away walking, nice walk though. Beach is nice, it's a pebbly beach so I'd suggest taking water shoes, in the booklet in the hotel says they charge for sunbed use, although this might just be in season as I didn't get charged. They have kayaks and pedalos you can use, sadly the one I took out had a nice hole and I spent some time bailing out the water until I gave up and went back in. It is not accessible for people in wheelchairs, only way down is by stairs and you will find a lot of things at this hotel aren't setup for people in wheelchairs If you're a fan of tours, this hotel offers 3 dubrovnik by bus or by boat and a boat tour of the 3 islands. Tours were ok, was just glad to get out of the hotel for a day. Only way I'd suggest booking here is if you like to sit on the beach (not by the pool as it makes a constantly weird noise) and read a book in peace. Travelling with Kids - don't bother, swings and seesaw in the park and no kiddy pool If you have mobility issues, avoid this place unless you can do a few steps/stairs I do a lot of travelling and usually the greatest compliment I can give a hotel is I'd return, this hotel I wouldn't come back if you paid me.
