The hotel is a 15-minute walk from the charming village of Marston and 10 minutes by car from the center of Grantham. If you want to explore further, there are lots of interesting places to visit in the area, including several stately homes. Grade I-listed Belvoir Castle is about a 20-minute drive away, while Grimsthorpe Castle has exquisite gardens and family activities to enjoy. Not happy as I stayed at the hotel twice Jus so I can use the spa but first time I over slept and 2nd time was told that because we are checking out today and only have 20m left till checkout we cant use the spa Not happy at all the person in the spa was not nice at all stayed there on Sunday 20th July till Monday 21st July 2025 and the previous Sunday to Monday 🙁

Very nice night, receptionist even let us have extra biscuits and made sure everything was okay for us ! only downside is that we wanted to stay 1-2 hours extra after checkout for the pool which cost £30. We will be back

The room was dreadful, velum windows were dangerous and faulty. Single beds were very uncomfortable and the overall state of the room was very poor. In desperate need of redecoration and upgrade. Bathroom wasn’t very clean either.

An excellent break
The hotel was lovely. Both my requests for a quiet room and a bath were met on my arrival. The staff were warm, friendly and efficient. I used the spa and found the treatments and team excellent. My additional request was accommodated. I ate with a friend in both the restaurant and bar in an evening both the food and service were really good.

Extremely friendly service and staff, very generous sized room with large modern bathroom… mattress uncomfortable but did sleep ok.. hearty and plentiful breakfast with good selection, beautiful tasting coffee…. Nice lesuire facilities… overall an enjoyable stay….

Nice, friendly staff. Basic room but comfy beds, meals that came out looked nicely presented but we didn’t eat. Quiet lounge area to chill in if you don’t want to sit in the bar or restaurant.
