Motel 6 Slidell, la - New Orleans

I paid for a extra night two hours before checkout and the housekeeper bust in my room disrespectfully asking am i leaving checkout is at 11. All because the front desk person was talking to her boyfriend and didnt update the housekeeper on the extra night. Noone took accountability the manager only said sorry but u paid late which was a lie cuz i had a confirmation at 9:11am when checkout is at 11 and when i showed him he just looked dumbfounded!I was exposed and disrespected. A person is always suppose to announce themselves no matter what!Wont ever come back!!!!!!!!

It was terrible the room smelled like old mildew or paint the sheets was dirty and my husband broke out something bit his neck all up!!!

Never again! We were heading to a cruise for a family gathering. The first room we were placed in had urine and toilet paper still in it. We also observed a roach crawl into the television stand. Jacob, the night clerk moved us to another room and the toilet there still had a ring around the bowl. However, the room had an overall better smell and the sheets were pleasant. This experience taught us to never trust anything less than a hotel.

Good hotel, great staff. Manager is super friendly and helpful. Property is older but clean and quiet.

The staff is very rude shower was not working it was leaking out like a broken facet brought it to management attention he keep saying they will send someone no one came and refuse to cancel remaining nights, the hotel is full of drug dealers and user if the streets not for you please don’t go there unsafe environment

Horribly The only great thing I can say about this Motel is the location is great. It is located right off of I-10. The service was friendly which was good. But they didn't really go out of the way for that awesome motel experience that grabs a tourist's attention, but friendly none the less. The room was the absolute most horrible room I have ever had the displeasure to stay in. The water pressure was very slow, took forever to get a little hot water, the TV had bad reception, there was a queen size mattress on a full size frame which made the bed droop on either side,the only blanket on the bed had cigarette holes in it, hardly any amenities like coffee, or toiletries, just little bars of soap and a few towels, and the smell was so bad, that we had to drown the room with cologne and perfume. I will not be returning to this or any motel 6 establishments again.
