Lovely hotel set in beautiful mountain scenery. We arrived 1/2 hr after the dining room closed but there were people still eating meals & the kitchen staff were still around - we asked if we could just have a small snack or sandwich in the bar area & they were unable to provide it. We did decide to have one drink at the bar & sit in the TV/lounge area & before we had time to finish our drinks the night porter came in & switched all the lights off - leaving us in virtual darkness & switched the TV over to a station he wanted to watch !!! We felt this action was strange & unwelcoming as it was only about 10pm ? We also run a small hotel in the uk countryside & would have gone out of our way to provide a small snack for guests who had travelled a long way & were delayed . Shame as everything else about the hotel was lovely. Breakfast was excellent for the cost of €10 extra. Reception staff in evening & morning were very pleasant too. We would have stayed longer to explore the area if we hadn’t been travelling to another destination.

The location is next to the ski resort in Medvednica National Park, so it is about 20km away from the center of Zagreb, and the road is winding, so it was a bit difficult. However, the facilities are great, as in the picture, and the breakfast was served directly instead of buffet-style, which was nice, and the air is the best because it is on the top of the mountain. I didn't have time to use the sauna, but I was able to heal on the balcony in the forest using the free parking.

Just a beautiful place; we stop by there on the way to the coast; beautiful oak tree forest surrounding the property; ideal for hikes or just short walks; great restaurant in the hotel….warm/knowledgeable staff

Amazing place on the top of the mountain; great/friendly staff; you can walk around the forest for hours.
