Terrible service! The hairdryer was missing. I called customer service, and an Indian guy answered, insisting it was in the room. I told him it really wasn't and asked for one to be sent up, but it took over an hour! Then I went to the front desk, and they still didn't send one... The towels were dirty, and there was dust on the cabinets.

I stayed here for one night before heading back home. It's a few kilometers from Terminal 5, but we had a driver taking us to the airport. The hotel does offer a shuttle bus, but I think it's for a fee. The hotel has a huge number of rooms, and the cleanliness was just okay. We booked breakfast and dinner, which were predominantly Indian cuisine. The front desk staff wasn't very professional; they forgot to give me one of my dinner vouchers and didn't even apologize when I went to ask about it.

The room was decent, but the location was a bit out of the way, making it inconvenient to get around. To top it off, there was a power outage! I was stuck in a dark hallway with a big suitcase, waiting for the electricity to come back on. Horrible experience! 😱😱😱

Firstly, used to free hotel shuttles. To get here from airport costs £24 return for a couple. Add that to the room price. Place in understaffed: we were second in queue but only two receptionists were working very sloooowly. In the evening, the barman seemed to be holding down two jobs, in the bar and at their Starbucks coffee shop outlet. Waited 10mins for first drink, same for second for which, fair play, he didn’t charge me. In the morning a fire alarm went off with a huge screech, for just three seconds but it took far longer for my wife’s heart to slow down. An appropriate launch for checkout. I’ve stayed at far worse places around the globe, but there are far better alternatives around Heathrow. Thought Hilton was a top-rank brand, so obviously disappointed.

First receptionist we dealt with was really nice but then she had to ask a colleague for help with our check in and she was extremely rude. Having booked an executive room, we were told we didnt get access to the executive lounge as hadn't booked direct. Load of rubbish. Went to our room, quick call to Hilton Customer Care and they confirmed we did have executive lounge access so went back to reception. The hotel is really comfortable, big spacious rooms, nice beds, bathrooms with shower and bath. Water wasn't free even in executive rooms which was a bit of a shock (£2.50 a bottle). Executive lounge was nice but service much cut back from last time I stayed at few years ago. Fridges empty most of the day, snacks not topped up. Dirty cups everywhere etc. Evening snacks was good but again, reduced compared to what they used to offer. Spirits and prosecco was a nice touch though. Breakfast served in the restaurant for executive room guests. Really nice selection, mostly buffet but eggs and omelettes cooked to order. Nice coffee. Staff on the whole are really friendly and welcoming (apart from the receptionist on day one). We had 3 nights here and enjoyed it. There is a shuttle bus from terminal 5 to the hotel door which is £6.80 per person or you can take bus number 5 which stops on the road outside the hotel for £1.50. If staying more than one night, there is buses to Windsor, legoland, Slough and hounslow (for the tube to central london).

Booked the family room and was incredibly satisfied! It was surprisingly spacious. I was traveling alone with three kids, and there was a big bed and a sofa bed that could sleep two. I was worried it wouldn't be enough for four people and had even asked the hotel to add an extra bed in advance, but it turned out to be more than enough space. It's also very close to the hotel, about a ten-minute drive, which was great.
