Sokcho I-Park Suite Hotel & Residence Reviews

The hotel is brand new and has a fantastic view. There are carparks within the building so great for drivers. Rooms are super clean and it's conveniently located in town. Honestly a total bargain for the facility and view. Highly highly recommend.

We were very disappointed. As the room rates are considerably high priced, our room apparently only included 2 times breakfast, so we had to book 2 additional breakfasts for our family room of 4. The costs of the extra breakfast we had to book was €18 per person, and that is if you book it the day before because if you book it on the day of you pay even more. Another downside was that there are no facilities to get a drink/snack in the lobby.  Our welcome at the reception was very poor, only Korean-speaking receptionists, and they didn’t even try to accommodate, as we had to sign papers that were only written in Korean. The washing machine and cooker both did not work, no apologies, or compensation (we urgently needed to do our laundry). The advertised roof pool was only accessible when paying an additional fee (€18 per person for a 3 hour timeslot). I would definitely not recommend this hotel to non-Koreans, way overpriced and very poor service. And our absolute top annoyance was the elevator. Long waiting times in all directions to use it, there are simply not enough elevators for the amount of people staying in the hotel. The hotel has 28 floors, so taking the stairs was not really an alternative. Think twice before booking. In my opinion, very poor price/quality. One positive thing, the room was spacious and clean.

The view was fantastic for the Panasonic view room!  The service wasn’t so good! Anything we requested for like actionable bed sheets cause the room was very hot with the duvet and AC wasn’t helping! They don’t clean the room for the first 3 nights! And don’t discard your garbage!  They aren’t very good at communicating in English! Otherwise the lift takes forever to reach your top floors!

Goood Hotel.For Stay ....

The room was okay, but the elevator wait times were quite long. The service wasn't great, especially since I left my passport and a water bottle at the hotel. I called the front desk twice, and both times they said they hadn't found anything. On my third call, they said they found the water bottle but not the passport. Usually, if a guest leaves something behind, a hotel wouldn't take several phone calls over two days to acknowledge it.

No tea bags or coffee sachets provided, which is a bit weird.  Water pressure for shower is way too weak.  No room cleaning services, leaving alone having your new towels put outside your room in the morning. Only 4 lifts serving way too many hotel stayers, resulting in long waiting lines and thus, time.  Views are magnificient however.  The room is so massive and the balconies are spacious.

it's ok for weekend trips. has balcony. but the elevator takes forever!

nice clean hotel , big space too , nice view too . Near Gangneung intercity bus terminal, but is 2.5KM away from Gangneung express bus terminal also sokcho beach is 2-3Km away from hotel .

I spent most of my trip waiting for an elevator with only four cars in the entire building. I will never use this hotel again.

Nice atmosphere and view ! Staffs were friendly and breakfast was well-served! Lastly, Reasonable price ! Love it :)

Location is okay but the room is super small. Need to pay extra to get toothpaste & toothbrush. Swimming pool is not for free, elevator is a disaster.

I enjoyed the trip

Seems like a new hotel & very clean - room include balcony with sea view😍 Location was great too! However, when its busy you'll have to join the queue for lift - which will takes awhile. Only 4 lifts for all guest to use. Other than that, our stay were great.
