Sokcho Pine View Hotel

I had a pleasant and relaxing time. There was a well-maintained walking path in front of the accommodation, and the Seoraksan Cable Car was nearby, so I climbed up the mountain and enjoyed the magnificent scenery. There was the famous Sinheungsa Temple, and at the entrance, a huge, majestic sitting Buddha statue welcomed visitors. I made alms and prayed for the health of my family.

The rooms are clean, nice, and close to Seoraksan Mountain. There's a bus stop nearby, making it easy to get around.

The neighborhood used to be a long-standing tourist attraction (the back side, except for the street-side front, is now closed). It's clean with new paint and other new features, but it's an old building. There's no elevator. The bathroom is really old. Think of it as an old pension. The owner is friendly.

It's close to Seoraksan Mountain, but other than that, the bugs and other facilities outside of the accommodation are below expectations for the price.

The location was great, and the room was decent for the price. It was cozy and quiet, and the river and walking path were also great.

The reviews on TripAdvisor were high, so I booked without much thought because the photos looked clean and spacious. There was a main building and an annex, and I used the main building. The room was surprisingly spacious. The key was a key, and they'd upgraded the room to a slightly larger one, but it didn't feel particularly spacious. The window frames were a bit dated, and the wallpaper was a bit worn. It wasn't as beautiful as the advertised photos. The only positives were the sink and electric induction stove, so I could cook simple meals. Street parking was convenient. Anyway, since I wasn't going to be staying in the room all the time, it didn't really matter, but I felt it was a waste to pay 250,000 won for two nights. As much as I'm a big fan, I didn't want to take any interior photos, so I don't have any.

It's inconvenient because there aren't many people at the reception and there's no elevator.

It was just okay. I'll rest well and go.
