The Hotel Sokcho

Great location! I stayed for 3 nights. It’s clean but they made a cleaning service only on 3rd day. On 2nd day, they just changed the trash can. It’s their rule. Good view! Luggage storage also available, so everything is okay. But I didn’t see other daily support like small lotion pack, toothpaste like other hotels provide. There’s only 2 tea packs and 2 coffee brew packs and 2 water bottles. But they gave 2 one time used indoor slippers.

Hotel Sokcho is located a 5-minute walk away from the Express Bus Terminal. This is very convenient for catching early buses back to Seoul. There’s a large supermarket nearby as well as convenience stores and eateries. Sokcho Beach is also about a 10-minute walk down the road. The rooms are bright and spacious, with amazing views of the sea. But what we really appreciated was the remarkable standard of service offered. Late one night, our toilet got choked and the flush stopped working. We called the front desk and within a mere 10 minutes, a smartly clad staff appeared at our door, very politely fixed the uncomfortable issue and very politely left, all in a matter of a few minutes. Minimum fuss, maximum efficiency. We were impressed.

We booked Premier Sea View Family Room, it comes with 1x Queens size bed, 1x Single Bed and sofa, the room is also equipped with kitchen sink and dining table which are convenient for family travelller. I enjoy the view, can see sun rise from my room.

Room was big, spacious and clean, it’s close to the express bus terminal and there’s a convenience store downstairs. 10/10 recommended!

Booked 2 nights. Make up room upon request only. Bottled water in fridge. Toothbrush not provided. Walking distance to eMart/Dsiso and some food nearby. Free parking in the hotel make it easier to load/unload luggage. Otherwise outdoor parking next to hotel.

Overall, the experience was quite good. The hotel is very close to the beach—only about a five or six-minute walk—and also near the express bus terminal, making it very convenient. The room had a nice ocean view, was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. However, the room design wasn’t very convenient. For example, there were no power outlets by the bed—the only ones were on the TV stand—and the light switches were a bit far from the bed, which made it slightly inconvenient. Overall, though, it was a pleasant stay with great value for money, an excellent location, and satisfying service.

5min walks from the Sokcho Express Terminal, super easy to get there. sea view room, new and clean. no breakfast. easy to get around Sokcho city. Lovely

The location is great ! Within a walking distant from bus terminal. We check in around 1 am and the staff are very helpful to assist us. The room is big and value to the price. The room.is exactly as i the photo. The only.thing is i only.met 1 staff on the night that i check in who can communicate in English fluently. Thanks to thay staff he helps and explain us clearly about the room.
