Premier Inn Solihull South (M42)

Very warm welcome and everything as it should be. Swift service both at the hotel and Beefeater next door. Good location for motorway but it’s not in Solihull- it’s in Shirley which is a distance from Solihull itself. No problem to us though.

Iv stayed here a few times naw and every time iv stayed, the staff are lovely the food from the restaurant is dam well lovely enjoyed every time many thanks to debbs , Sam , Sophie the cheff she’s a goooden

Booked two excellent rooms. Very quiet location, good parking. Just along from a large Tesco and a McDonalds; 10 mins drive to NEC. Staff friendly and helpful. Room spacious, very comfortable and clean. Would recommend, especially if attending an event at the NEC

We stayed in a family room for two nights, it was clean and comfortable, the parking was good, having EV charging on site was a good feature although one particular car was blocking it a lot of the time. The only issue was the food, the portions are pretty small for the price and the quality wasn't great. I had an undercooked burger which gave me some gastric problems throughout the night and into the next day.

Great seamless checking in. Plenty of parking - and it’s free. Bedroom allocated was of the first floor but no lift. The room was very well appointed and clean. No complaints from us other than the shower had a fixed shower head with limited pressure. Food is a short walk through the car park. A the evening meal we were impressed with service executed by very friendly and engaging staff Food was great and fresh and service very fast. Breakfast was no different. A decent continental spread with fresh silver service hot menu. We would definitely visit this hotel again.
