Came down for breakfast at 9am foils served in plastic containers was Luke warm no one around to raise issue Not up to standard especially for almost £10 per person which we were advised by reception to book in advance if I had seen the food before hand I wouldn’t have wasted my money !

The whole hotel was spotless, the rooms, reception area, cafe and even outside there was no litter. A very pleasant one night stay. Would definitely go back if visiting Solihull area again.

Stayed here for only the second time. Although we thought the price per night was quite expensive only because of Crufts being at the NEC we’d certainly stay again. I would check what’s happening at the NEC as that defines the price. Comfortable bed, cozy room, hot shower.

We arrived at 8.30pm to find no car parking spaces available. There was no mention of this being a possibility. We were told to park in the station carpark which wasn't free. This meant walking in the dark back from the station in an area we didn't know. This Travelodge is very close to the station and as such you hear trains thundering through regularly all night. I had read the breakfast would be served from 6.30am, but when I checked in I was told it was 7am so we had to change our plans and get breakfast from somewhere else. When we left there were people eating breakfast before 7am. The rooms were clean but extremely small. The bathroom only has a very small shower with a curtain, no bath. The staff were extremely rude with a couldn't care less attitude. I've stayed in several Travelodge's over the years and this is by far the absolute worst and I would never stay there again.

This is the second time we have stayed at this Solihull Travelodge. We were very satisfied with our stay. Our visit was much enhanced by the pleasant staff. They were cheerful and helpful at every level. We would like to make special mention of Kevin at the Reception and Bar. He is always friendly, obliging in everyway and has a very good sense of humour.

Service by everyone including Sat is friendly and helpful. The location, close to the Solihull train station, is convenient but is at the same time quite peaceful. The rooms that I have stayed at have always been very clean and comfortable.

Great stay but more importantly the customer service with Hannah at reception was outstanding, she was a life saving and couldn’t have been more helpful, a true credit to the hotel! Thank you Hannah! Also, a real comfy bed, decent pillows and Stella at the bar (24 hours as well) - touch! Antony & Cora
