I’ve been to the lodge, camp and campsite multiple times and every time again it’s amazing! Food made with passion, staff with smiles, endless views and comfy beds. Most importantly, it feels like a home! Thanks everyone!

Beyond excellent. This is by far the best lodge we stayed in in Namibia. "Queen Sophie" absolutely ruined us with her cooking, outstanding puddings and possibly the best toasted sarmie I have had! The other members of staff were friendly, full of knowledge of the local area, offered to book things for us and even made us a packed breakfast to go to Sossusvlei early. Irvin, even made sure our car tyres were ready for the trip. The rooms are beautiful and clean with their own porch, the pool looks exactly like the picture and has a great view. The range of wines suit every palate. Couldn't fault this at all. So relaxing! Big thanks to Schalk for our impromptu game drive and further tripping advice.

Loved everything about the lodge and the accommodation at Soft Adventure. Friendly staff and a great braai in the open boma.

As the sun set on the horizon, it bathed the landscape in golden light – a moment of pure magic we will never forget. Accompanied by delicious food and the warm smiles of the staff, our stay was truly a gift for the soul. Thank you for these wonderful memories.

Very nice lodge with capable and friendly staff. For me, especially Erikson stood out for his general knowledge and good conversations. WiFi worked well in our room and in the general areas (we stayed in room 2, closer to the lobby). The only drawback I can see of being closer to the lobby is that some light is visible during the night if you want to do star-gazing. The lodge maintenance guys were very helpful in getting my tyre plugged and changed. There’s a compressor at the maintenance shop. Dinner and breakfast were good. Definitely stay here at least one night and try to make use of the pool overlooking the desert. I saw Wildebeast and Oryx from my room and a wild night sky!

A very comfortable lodge. The rooms are a bit dated, but spotlessly clean. We thoroughly enjoyed the meals, views and chatting with the friendly owners and staff. The land in front of the room seemed to be endless and the stars at night were fabulous. There’s an amazing Sociable Weavers’ nest just nearby and also quiver trees. A waterhole is visited by small animals and birds. Also a beautiful small swimming pool in the rocks. A very peaceful place - we recommend it.

This lodge is one of a widely dispersed assortment of resorts in a most extraordinary part of Namibia. Namib Naukluft was built a few years ago now (I'm guessing '60's or '70's) and is a bit dated but you quickly get past that with the genuine hospitality and simplicity of the lodge... and it's location. Food was good, sometimes great, service wonderful. It is remote. Solitaire is a dusty 15 minutes away. It has a petrol station, a restaurant and a bakery with the best apple crumble this side of the English Channel...but that's it, so no eating out or heading down to the local after dinner. This simple and charming resort is all you have - and all you will need.
