Lovely hotel, fantastic location, outstanding staff. Loved our stay here, especially the wonderful staff. We checked out in a hurry and left some medicine. We called from the airport to inquire about shipping it home. Instead, a staff member ran to the room, got the items and put them in a cab to the airport! Everything arrived in time and the day was saved thanks to the hotel staff! Highly recommend.

Wonderful hotel, over looking the bay and Port Soller. It has chilled, relaxed atmosphere, the staff are attentive but not intrusive; incredibly helpful and knowledgeable too. We only stayed one night but wanted to stay the week! The restaurant services a mixture of Mallorcan and Mediterranean food, creatively served. The rooms with a terrace are wonderful, airy, well appointed with the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in. Wonderful hotel.

Front of house exceptional - pool staff a little moody probably because there are so many steps to reach the infinity pool. Restaurant and bar fabulous. Room was lovely and the view out to the bay very pretty. We have been spoiled in Majorca at what is our favourite hotel in Puerto Pollensa so everything has to match up and this one didn’t quite make it.

Fantastic ! Great location, superb views , amazing staff …..we loved our mini break and can’t wait to go back next summer. The bedrooms have a wonderful view over the bay and lovely terrace to watch the world go by. Breakfast was delicious either a la carte on the sea front or in the main restaurant. The gym and spa were well equipped and the pool terraces were enveloped by beautiful flora and fauna on terraces at the back of the hotel with bay views .

We have just returned from 4 nights at the Esplendido Hotel and had the most fabulous time. We selected one of the smaller sea view rooms with a terrace, but the room was beautifully appointed and I do not think that the online photographs do it justice. Waking up to the view of Soller bay and the sound of the sea really was beautiful. We loved the buffet breakfast and found the quality, choice and staff all exceptional. As a regular visitor to Soller and the wider area, we will most definitely be back but for longer!

The Staff were indifferent, service was slow and lacking in curtesy. The breakfast was really bad, the eggs were under cooked, the toast thick and hard. we were told people have been coming to the hotel for THE BREAKFAST for 15 years. Nothing looked good or tasted good. The ironing board delivered to us was rocking so badly that the iron fell off and could have burnt me. The fruit sent to our room was stale and rotten ( see pic) The wifi signal was weak in the rooms, the lighting was dim and the toilet pan wobbled.

My sister and I could not get over the Esplendido Hotel! We booked a terrace room, overlooking the sea, and it was just as the photos described. We found the staff friendly and helpful, the food (breakfast) very delicious, and the location could NOT be beat. The room was small but well-appointed and we lacked for nothing. We would come back to Esplendido Hotel in a heartbeat!

We’ve now stayed at Esplendido five or six times and it’s getting better. The location and views of course are sensational. The rooms especially those looking out to sea are delightful - we recommend the standard sea view terrace rooms. The breakfast and a la carte restaurant are also very good. But the staff are what make the place super special, from the receptionists on the front desk to the waiting staff to the pool team and cleaners. 100% recommend.
