Scott and Laurie are outstanding hosts. The bed and breakfast is set up in such a way that you can truly relax and unwind. The facilities are cozy and wonderful. The breakfast was amazing and the location is perfect to get away and has all you need within a short trip.

A Breath of Heaven is absolutely breathtaking. From the warm wood surroundings to the cozy fireplace in the room, this is one of the most beautiful homes I have ever stayed in. The reading room upstairs with so many fascinating books, seating spaces outside, and porch swing invite you to a mindset of peace and relaxation. Scott was an exemplary host, anticipating our needs and likes and incorporating those into the delicious meals he prepared. When my husband and I asked about the possibility of sitting outside to look at the backyard, chairs had appeared by the time we got back to the room. He had great recommendations for coffee and places to see orchards blossoming. If you are looking for gorgeous surroundings and unmatched hospitality, look no further. I hope we can stay here again soon!

A Breath of Heaven was a wonderful weekend getaway for my wife and I. Scott is an excellent cook, his breakfasts will not disappoint. His wife Laurie will greet you with a smile and make sure you have everything you need. We stayed in the larger suite with jacuzzi tub and fireplace. However, the other room was very nice as well as we got to peek into that one. The house and atmosphere are amazing. Please consider staying here if your going to Traverse City, you will not be disappointed!

This is an amazing Bed and breakfast my wife and I celebrated our anniversary here and it was a wonderful stay short distance downtown Traverse CIty but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. The breakfasts were fabulous and Scott was a very nice and genial host.

We just returned home (hating to leave what feels like it has become like a second home!!) and I find myself having a hard time reviewing A Breath of Heaven. This was our 8th stay and when we walked in, it was like coming home! This B&B is such a great setting, so quiet and relaxing, yet close enough to dining, wineries, activities, etc. We just would not stay anywhere else in Traverse City. Breakfasts with Chef Scott are amazing and always include laughter and entertainment!! Scott and Laurie are perfect hosts and have done an outstanding job making this B&B somewhere you must see and experience to believe!! We promise you will not be disappointed!! Looking forward to our next visit in February!

My daughter and I just returned from our weekend stay at this FABULOUS bed and breakfast inn! The home is so close to the downtown hub of Traverse City, yet tucked within the beauty of nature so you feel like you're far away from the hustle and bustle of life. We found it only a few minutes drive from fantastic restaurants, ice cream parlor, orchard and more. Scott was a truly fantastic cook and we enjoyed the most delicious breakfasts! Couldn't have asked for better hosts! The home is beautiful, cozy and welcoming! The library loft is a true gem! The bed was so very comfortable...would definitely stay here again !! THANK YOU!

Very relaxing and peaceful. Scott and Laurie were very welcoming and helpful. The entire place is clean and a calm space to feel comfortable and relax. The bed was very comfortable and food was absolutely delicious. The property is beautiful and tucked away from the hustle and bustle of downtown but close enough to grab something to eat or go to an activity.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and were very comfortable here. The room was very neat and clean. The bathroom was very clean and well stocked with necessities. The host was friendly and very accommodating. Breakfast was amazing! We would definitely recommend this B&B!
