Fergus Style Carema Beach

I love the place. Great location, right next to the beach, and walking distance from Cala en Bosc district with bars and restaurants. Staff was helpful and the sunbathing area was huge. Love the breakfast buffet too!

Excellent service, lots of choices of food for breakfast, all beatifully prepared, cooked to perfection, tasty and hot, everything we wanted and more, the staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us, our room was cleaned and tidied every day by Karema, the lovely lady with a pretty smile, the grounds and pool are immaculately kept, the reception area is immaculate too ant smells lovely, all staff are extremely helpful at all times, the view's from the restaurant are beautiful overlooking the beech and sea, Callan Bosh has a lovely marina with lots of bars around it, I would deffinately come back to Fergus style Carema Beech, an excellent stay , well done everyone xx

Excellent hotel. Super standard of rooms and facilities. Buffet breakfast was first rate with large selection catering for everyone Evening buffet was excellent quality and large selection of good food. Hotel is super clean everywhere and is very noticeably clean. Pool and facilities are excellent. To be recommended.

We stayed for a week at Carema Beach and it was just what the doctor ordered….a very chilled getaway at a lovely hotel right on the beach! The whole stay was perfect for what we needed and to have the Harbour with all those Resteraunts literally a 3 minute walk away was heaven. The hotel, pool and breakfast buffet was brilliant and the staff were so helpful. We would definitely stay again sometime soon.

Definitely not a four star hotel at all. 1. Toilet paper is of the worst quality and worse than those in public convenience. 2. Kettle provided in the apartment is very rusty. Informed the reception and was replaced with a clean one (not a new one). However, the rust appeared again after first boil. This is a health hazard issue. 3. All the four star hotels i went to all have a spacious bar/lounge area with comfortable seating. There is none in this hotel. 4. Poor drainage in the shower. Table is wobbly. Wardrobe is dusty that I had to wipe myself. 5. No gym, no any entertainment. 6. Reception has some sort of electric intense diffuser. I had to hold my breath as I would prefer natural air. On the positives, staff are very friendly and nice though. Location is great as it is by the beach and you can do some coastal walks. It is beautiful. You can also watch sunset. The pool is of decent size. Food is very nice especially paella, pizza and pork but is quite repetitive.

Menorca is a beautiful island and cal n bosch is a great little marina with lovely restaurants. The Fergus style Carema is in a very nice location right next to the marina and with direct access to the beach, these are the good points! I struggle to see why this is 4 star and why there are so many excellent ratings. We had a ground floor room with a Bali bed outside, but the standard of the fitting and fixtures are of a poor quality, with broken and chipped crockery and a dirty shower. The shower had good water pressure but the glass and rails were not clean and could do with a refresh. The bed was comfortable (memory foam matrice) but the pillows are very thin so sleeping was not always good. There is little in the way of entertainment and not really a good bar area but the bar staff were friendly and obviously worked hard. The restaurant has the feel of a staff canteen rather than a 4 star buffet and the food was of poor quality, warm at best and VERY repetitive. Breakfast offered the best meals and catered for most diets and tastes, but I am sure the mostly French diners would have loved fresh croissants and a better cheese choice! The staff in the restaurant ignored people most of the time and the only time they seem to work harder was when management was around, which was a surprise because the Spanish are normally fantastic at looking after their clients. We really wanted to like this Hotel having read the reviews, but unfortunately Fergus Style was lacking on lots of areas. We have stayed at many 4/5 star hotels but unfortunately this felt more like a 3 star. I am sorry for the negative review but this was our experience and has put us off booking again with Fergus.
