Hotel great for families, kids pool and splash pool good with lots of floats and toys . Rooms clean and fresh although basic - towels changed every day we wanted them, and cleaners in room every day. Shower only in room which was fine for us but my son slipped as no mat in the shower , this might be good for safety for young children , not sure if there were any rooms with baths but could be tricky for people with babies and very young children. Evening entertainment was varied and on every night seemed good but we didn’t go every night . Kids disco was great my son loved it although didn’t start till late 8:30-9pm. Food was good for Spanish all inclusive plenty and varied choice for adults although food was never very warm, kept on hot plates but didn’t seem to work very well. Only down side was lack of choice for kids with it being a family oriented hotel it was disappointing, myself like many others whilst we were there struggled for kids food my son lived on pizza and chips and some other picky bits, even chicken nuggets were only served one night whilst we were there. The snack bar wasn’t great it looked a bit dried up and was left out all day my husband and I didn’t have anything from it but my son ate the pizza and chips . All in all though good hotel . Resort was lovely and only a 10 minute walk from hotel as is the beach .

On arrival the process was very smooth, our room was lovely and clean couldn't fault it. However we were on 2nd floor so had to carry pushchair up the stairs several times a day. Cup token process makes sense. We always just kept our cups all day until Can't moan about breakfast had same thing everyday by choice was lovely good selection to choose from. Sometimes a little cold but was a microwave provided. The pool is very cold sometimes to the point we didn't go in it. It's also very deep so the some kids can't really make use of the slides unless there prepared to submerge under the water on landing. The kids little pool seems most popular and it's the smallest pool but my kid still had fun! Pool areas very tidy and well manned by lifeguards. Games room and park was good used that nearly every day. Good selection of food for lunch and dinner love the meatballs and Mexican night food was very tasty. Drink jugs at dinner are brill saves you keep going up. Drinks in general were good cruzcampo as local beer was perfect for me. Entertainment was too late for kids but my kid enjoyed it when she did go. Adult entertainment we thought was more than reasonable they put alot of time and effort into their shows. We seen the hotel entertainment team and hired entertainment both can't fault. Marina for shops, bars and restaurants 10 minute walk. Beach 10 minute walk that was lovely and quaint went there few times sea was clear and warm! Local supermarket 5 minute walk We hired a family buggy bike thing from the hotel that was fun but was hard work! Overall really lovely holiday surrounded by friendly staff and friendly families. Was just the sort of holiday we needed Would definitely recommend the melia chain and sal falco hotel

Absolutely loved this hotel! We went with our 3 year old for 7 days and would 100% return! We just didn't want to come home. The food offered was excellent and so much food to choose from even my little girl loved the food! We are both very fussy about food and we did not have one bad word to say. They even did themed nights. Whilst we were there they did Asian and wow it didn't disappoint. The food hall was extremely clean and the staff were amazing. The hotel is very well maintained and very clean. My little girl Absolutely loved the splash park! And the smaller slightly warmer pool where all the kids seemed to go to. Really good for the children to make friends. This hotel is perfect for family's! You can tell everything is orientated around children and their family's. Rooms could have more storage for clothes but apart from that the rooms were lovely. The hotel is around a 10 minute walk away from a stunning white sand beach! And the water is crystal clear couldn't have asked for a more perfect beach One annoying thing though. Was people putting towels on su beds as early as possible and most of them having the same sunbeds all week. Meaning someday we couldn't find a bed.

Currently still here (it’s Wednesday we leave Friday) We are a family of 4 but due to my oldest being 24 he wanted his I own room (understandable) We booked through Jet2 and requested a family extra room and a separate room. We just got a family xtra room and the hotel could not accommodate. We specifically requested the family xtra room as it has a separate bedroom which we need as my husband has medical issues. I feel this was a jet2 issue and not Sol falco’s Let’s start with arrival. Transfer took approximately 2 hours from airport due to heavy traffic. On arrival the hotel foyer was immaculately clean and the check in staff very polite and helpful. Rooms - as stated above not what we booked. The rooms are travel lodge type. Basic but clean. Staff came every day to make beds and replace towels. But it was the xtra family room and we should have had an entirely separate room too. I did take it up with the Jet2 rep on the Saturday but she explained the hotel was full. Pool area - clean, plenty of loungers. I suspect some of the negative reviews regarding the pool area over the summer holidays was down to sheer number of families staying. Bar - open 10am - 11pm plenty of drinks to choose from including hot (I say hot, every drink is Luke warm) the bar token system is a ball ache and cups are not clean. Dining/food - as we arrived 1 hour before lunch ended 1-3pm we put the Luke warm food down to being sat out for 2 hours. Fairly good selection of hot (never hot!) food, salad bar with selection of cheeses and stale bread sticks/ crackers. Bread was also stale. Soup was hot yay! Plenty of deserts. Dinner - 7-10pm that day and every day has been hit and miss with regards to hot food being hot. Again I mentioned this to Jet2 rep who informed me that’s how Spanish hotels are, and why there are microwaves this sadly, does seem to be the case as it’s happened before when we stayed in punta prima. However the hotel across the road where we stayed last time serves wonderful fresh and hot food at every service!!! Maybe sol Falco should pay them a visit. 3 times we have eaten out due to food being cold and I am not comfortable with microwaving any food! Food came out of metal storage cupboards throughout service so is far from fresh. (See photos) Snack bar is just left over food from breakfast/lunch/dinner with the occasional added burger, which again has to be microwaved. It doesn’t matter what time you arrive regarding whether your food will be hot. The only things guaranteed to be hot was the station at the far end. In the mornings the chef cooked fresh omelette and lunch/dinner fresh steak/chicken/pork. Although the steaks are very fatty. I’m honestly someone who is not a fussy eater but the food imo was not great. (Not 4 star!) Entertainment - I’m not sure where to start ‍♀️ firstly this hotel does not cater for English especially English children. If you want that then book in over the road (formally holiday village Minorca) all entert

Firstly, all members of staff excluding the bar staff were very helpful - bar staff not quite as pleasant. Children & Entertainment The hotel had more Italian and Spanish guests when we visited which made it tricky for our 6 yr old to make friends and the kids clubs are mainly attended by Italian & Spanish children. However, the entertainment staff were very sweet. The children’s disco at 9pm and main family show at 10pm were too late for us to enjoy, but appreciate that on the continent in warmer weather, they run later on into the evening. Food Snack bar - awful… food very poor quality and apart from a small salad selection, the rest was processed junk food. Main restaurant. Evening opening at 7:30 was too late for us so we ate out more often. Breakfast was the best and most balanced meal offering. Lunch & Dinner There was lots of fresh salad and fruit and one variety of meat or fish on the plancha, but apart from that , to me it appeared that most other food was processed / not prepared from scratch. If you arrived mid-service, the food was being slopped / tipped / malled by hand by kitchen workers which was not at all appealing. Desserts all processed and of poor quality in particular the children’s offering - the soft scoop ice cream machine was synthetic in flavour and colour. Overall, the dining experience was miserable reminiscent of school dinners, not relaxing - VERY noisy and we just wanted to get in and out as fast as possible. Bar / Drinks Just one bar served the whole complex. It was noisy and uninviting. The plastic cup / token system is very practical for daytime drinks at the pool but not nice for evening drinks / wine / cocktails in a plastic beaker! Grounds Beautiful! I was very impressed to see oranges, pears, olives and pomegranates growing as well as an abundance of beautiful flowers and tropical palms. Pools As with other reviews, all very deep. We stayed away from the main pool area as it was hectic! I think if we’d have been fluent Spanish speakers it would’ve been lots of fun though. Room Whilst it was very peaceful and cooled nicely with good air con, the room was very disappointing. It was small, scruffy and only just about clean enough. It would benefit from a deep clean in all corners and a soapy cloth to remove the foot print from the wall. The bathroom was of a decent size but there was no where to hang a dressing gown / pyjamas. The outdoor area was tiny / scruffy and again not inviting so we didn’t use it. My bedside table was broken from day one and despite repotting it, it remained broken for the duration of our stay. Sleep quality not good, poor quality beds, two singles with single bedding pushed together and a fold out chair for my son. We wouldn’t recommend and won’t return as we feel we didn’t get good value for money.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. The complex was kept immaculately clean, Our cleaner was very good and kept the room looking so good Thank you. We had a great room that overlooked the main pool area you do see people mostly English getting up at the crack of dawn to save a Sun bed. I didn’t see any other nationalities doing this. The food was very good and a wide selection of all foods. We travelled as a family with a 5 year old son. He had enough to choose from and was very happy with the Pastas and Salad selection available. He loved the choice of puddings especially the chocolate donuts. I’m a Vegetarian and there was enough choice for me I thoroughly enjoyed the food I had. My husband tried every type of Meat dish going and loved the Chorizo Sausages and Steak. If you are unsure about any of the food just ask the Chefs they are very helpful. We didn’t have to wait long to be served drinks at the bar and everyone was very pleasant. The hotel is located a few minutes walk from a rocky beach and 10 minutes to the Marina and a beautiful white sand beach. The entertainment is endless and they all work so hard to keep everyone happy. My son especially loved the Disney Show and took part at Karaoke. Yes the entertainment runs later for children however our son had a nap/siesta every afternoon so it worked out fine. The gardens are very pretty and maintained to a high standard from the Gardening Staff. We had storms during our stay and the gardens, pool area and paths was all cleaned up so quickly and efficiently. We meet a lot of lovely families during our stay English, Spanish and Italian. Thank you to everyone who works so hard at this hotel we will be back.

This hotel is awful. It’s one of the worst I’ve seen. I have never arrived on holiday and not stayed. On this occasion we spent 1 hour trying to get a nicer room, then 4 hours finding another hotel. We checked out the hotel and made the right decision to leave. It was stressful at the time, but the right decision. The entrance is ok, a nice reception and easy check in. I’d requested a ground floor due to my health condition and had paid extra for a pool view. I’d seen nice photos on their website of pool side ground floor rooms which would have been perfect for me. But wow, you should have seen what we got. It was the smallest room tucked away, looking out on a pile of mud. The pool could just be seen through overgrown trees which darkened the room. The pool was green with Algae! We were so shocked. This is a 4 star melia! We stay all the time in melia hotels, this was no way their usual standard! I visited reception and the only alternative room they offered was one just as bad or one on the 2nd floor. I struggle with steps, the hotel knew this but failed to accommodate me (unless I wanted the dark and dingy room). We spent a few hours debating our options, during this time observed the following- -no sunbeds, but half of them being used as towel storage areas for greedy families. -really rammed pool area, absolutely awful - token service for the all inclusive drinks, just another way to make money out of you. - cold awful snack food. - rammed pool, just not enjoyable at all. - seriously the rooms are ridiculous, can’t swing a cat. With dirty curtains for wardrobe doors. - limited outdoor eating space. The restaurant was packed, we didn’t have to endure this, but it looked and sounded horrendous. - muddy areas around the pool. Just dirty. In a nutshell, melia let us down. They will let you down if you book, so just book other hotels in the area. We moved to a Grupotel down the road and it was amazing. Clean, massive rooms and top notch service. I leave honest reviews, this hotel is 3 star at best, if you like busy busy, cheap food, and on tap alcohol, then you will ok. But it’s not for anyone who wants a relaxing break, with a clean room and surrounding area. Luckily we only did 5 hours in there. Honestly- look else where.
