SurfAsana Lodge
"This hostel is truly fantastic! The cleanliness of the rooms and the comfort are absolutely top-notch. Located at an altitude of about 50 meters, it offers a unique view of the sea and the beautiful landscape. The approximately 2 km to the town center can easily be covered by bicycle, which are provided free of charge. Social gatherings and communal cooking evenings are possible in the shared kitchen."
Bambuda Santa Catalina
"The hotel is a spectacular location where you can relax and enjoy different activities. Personnel is service and very friendly"
Villa Coco
"We visited Santa Catalina for Spring Break with our family of 6 and had the most wonderful stays at Villa Coco. The staff was warm and helpful throughout our stay. They arranged all of our excursions and every guide we had was fantastic. The rooms were gorgeous (outdoor shower of my dreams!) and the beds really comfy. The kids loved coming home to swim in the pool or relax in the hammocks. The food was outstanding - some of the best we have had in all of our travels and Olivia was outstanding - she a gem!! Lou, the cat, was our favorite. We will miss him sitting quietly outside our door awaiting our kids to wake up and give belly rubs. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you."
Hotel Santa Catalina Panamá
"We visited this lovely hotel 2 weeks ago with a group of 10. We were welcomed from the moment we stepped on to the property. The staff is wonderful here including the restaurant. So friendly and accommodating. The rooms are immaculate and we had a well equipped small kitchen that was perfect for breakfast. They will arrange all of your activities and there are many including going to beautiful Coiba. I highly recommend this gem of a hotel and I can’t wait to return!"
Catalina's Hideaway
"Have you ever heard of Tofino South? Well know you know where to book if you want ditch winter, enjoy superb surfing, sunny warm weather, great food, lovely people, eclectic art scene and a seaside village (Santa Catalina) with a great Tofino like vibe, all just just s short drive from Ryan and Anthea's Catalina's Hideaway. Their hideaway is one of the best boutique hotels we have stayed at and offers top notch chef's and their amazing recipes, private lux and regular casitas. Laid back, family cozy, excellent yoga instructors all offer a total relax between your surfing excursions... ten out of ten! Dr. Gavan Howe"
Hotel Las Hamacas
"My room was $80 per night and for that price I would certainly hope for better accommodations. The room was extremely small, as well as the bathroom (you can sit in the toilet and brush your teeth at the same time since the sink is in oración your face). To add to the bathroom woes, every morning the shower wouldn’t drain. The kitchenette had no soap, only one fork and no spoon, although the room was for two people. There was never anyone in the office to ask for help. The mattress was horrible and worn out with permanent indentions (body slots). The lighting ****** everywhere. Overall the room reminded me of a jail cell. It certainly wasn’t worth $8o a night and probably no even half that amount. The only positive was the location which is right near “downtown “. But in that same location, there are far better places in town to stay. I’d pass on this one."
