Emma made my trip so much more fun and nice!! She and her friend joined me for my hike the first day, i had dinner both days I stayed there and had the best tea and local handpicked food👌🏼 i woul recommend anyone who come here to stay here. You really feel like home and taken sooo well care of 😍

Cozy little place very close to Ancient City. Clean and quiet. Emma is a great host and she can organise all your activities. Highly recommend Emma's Guesthouse :)

This guesthouse is nice done. The rooms are nice colorful and have everything you need. Good bed, hot shower and an airconditioner. The two women Emma and Amy who are running it are great, friendly and very helpful. Emma also speaks well English. The restaurant is nice decorated and with original wooden walls, good food, western and Chinese and also a small bar. Can recommand this place.

Emma is a wonderful host and we felt very much at home! She speaks great English and knows about everything a traveler might want and need. Her whole family is super friendly and open and we enjoyed hanging out. Her cook made us one of the best meals with local and seasonal vegetables that we have had on the whole trip. The location of the charming guesthouse is in a quiet side street, away from the hustle of this very touristic town. The only small drawback was a horse trip that we booked through Emma, but it's partly my own fault because I should have inquired in detail beforehand. It wasn't horseriding but sitting on a horse while the guide was walking next to it and holding it the entire time - even though I do know well how to ride a horse. We felt pretty ridiculous, especially because it was an expensive activity... So best to discuss exactly what to expect :)

She’s a eccentric woman, friendly, speaks English, is in the guide books and trip advisor and all that for good reason cause she can book things for you such as train tickets or give advice to visiting the surrounding regions. I did the horse riding which was cool and there’s also a little restaurant inside the guesthouse. Everything under one roof basically it feels like the classic backpackers hangout. Most likely there will be like 3 people in the entire place, when I was there in July it was quite empty. The rooms are pretty tight, the 4 bed dorm is a squeeze with the bathroom door so close to the beds and the exit door. Nice place to hang out tho and it’s comfortable at night with the blankets
