What a wonderful time we had at the farmhouse. Special thanks to Olivia and her partner’s attentiveness. We thoroughly enjoyed being in nature, seeing the chapel and the lovely buildings and garden. Our first evening, we ate some delicious trout that had been fished that day and cooked by Olivia perfectly. The cannelloni and apple tart that was served on our second night was equally as tasty. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated and spacious. There were cats and horses galore!

I stayed solo for one night in June during a 6 property road trip, so this review is relatively objective. Located in a lovely rural location just outside Sospel - make sure your Satnav/GPS can pick up the less than accurate *********** address. Welcoming, English speaking hostess Pascale provide a really homely, pleasant and tasty set menu evening meal, which due to the weather was taken indoors rather than on the lovely terrace. Breakfast was to a decent French standard. My large but cosy bedroom, a converted chapel/grotto full of artistic touches and full of character, in keeping with the rest of this sympathetically restored building. Very clean, well equipped and comfortable. Decent modern bathroom too. Decent value. Recommended.

We had no idea what to expect with this accommodation and were absolutely blown away. Never expected to be able to stay in an 8th century chapel. The room was huge and comfortable. Ensuite was immaculate. Our host Pascale was incredible - food was amazing, view was amazing, room was amazing. We stayed here for one night en-route on our On Foot Holidays supported hike from La Brigue to Menton. If you plan to visit the Roya valley we recommend at least one night here (you could spend several nights and still not see everything in Sospel).

Passage d’une nuit lors de la traversée des alpes en randonnée pédestre. Accueil chaleureux de la propriétaire Un bon repas nous a été servi Très bons nectars de fruits au petit déjeuner Chambres très agréables , joliment décorées . L’environnement est agréable et reposant.
