Zaheer's Hotel

This is not a hotel in the sense of the word which would be understood by any literate individual. We had booked 2 nights after looking at the website which advertised an establishment with an Indian restaurant, bar and as one would expect at most hotels, actual staff. After arriving at 7pm with 3 young children following a long flight and drive we were met by a staff member with a similar level of warm as a flask of liquid nitrogen to be informed that the restaurant had closed permanently and the bar was also closed. I was told, ‘I can give you a can from the fridge to take to your room’. After going to our rooms and finding that the hot water did not work in either room I proceeded downstairs to find the establishment completely unmanned. The reception and bar were locked and we were seemingly the only people in the establishment. My young children were scared and freaked out by this unusual turn of events. When I messaged the numbers in the photos below I received no reply for 3 hours. Eventually I mailed again asking to cancel our second night as my children were too scared to stay a second night and I would like to speak to a staff member at 8:00 the following morning in order to discuss a possible refund. I was simply told that the working hours were 15:00 to 20:00 and to contact *********** They thankfully were very helpful and professional. This is not a hotel, it essentially functions like a substandard Airbnb without any of the benefits of that alternative service provider. The flophouse is located in a very rural area not within walking distance of any amenities. They were kind enough however to leave a local pizza delivery leaflet in the room as a supposed alternative to their non-existent restaurant. If one was looking for a place to hold an illicit ***** based event, perhaps with some additional paid service based whoring, this place would be perfect. If however, you have a family and worry about what might happen in the event of a fire or injury during the night, then you would be better of staying in a Salvation Army hostel, at least they have staff.

Please please do not book this place. It is an absolute hole. Room door wouldn't even lock. Walked out and will now try and get a refund from ***********. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. IT SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN.
