Beautiful hotel in a great location in the lively Kemang area of Jakarta. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to assist and make your stay comfortable. I highly recommend Monopoli Hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in Kemang. A nice bonus is the great music they play in the lobby and restaurant area, which adds a fun and relaxed atmosphere to the whole experience.

The location of the hotel is quite good, and the staff are very kind and helpful. Our room was clean and we didn’t notice any issues at all. The only downside was the hot water problem the water didn’t get warm enough, so I had to take a slightly chilly shower.

Very vintage and hipster looking hotel in south jakarta kemang area. Good food choice and selection. The only down side on weekend night, there are open club on roof top bar which could be a little noisy.

Beautiful hotel in a lively part of Kemang. Great location—walking distance to a mall and plenty of food spots, plus close to Blok M. Traffic can be a hassle, but the convenience makes up for it. Room was clean and comfortable with all the basics. Pool is small, and the bar was empty due to rain, though music was still playing. Still had a restful night. Would return on a sunnier day.

Nice hotel near to kemang night life and kemang village, good view

An example of 3.5-stars hotel - definitely higher than 3-stars but not quite a 4-stars. The room is spacious enough with a separate shower and toilet. Appreciate the kimono that comes inside the hotel - rarely happen in Indonesia. Unique design ot the lobby and elevator hall where you can see the elevator structure and spiralling stairs. Well functional gym and small-pool. Breakfast was basic, can be improved. Unfortunately the rooftop bar only open in the weekend.

Very good place for chill and partying

We stayed at Hotel Monopoli for a few nights and had a mixed but overall decent experience. The location is definitely a plus, situated in Kemang and close to business areas, it’s convenient for both work and leisure. However, one thing we didn’t anticipate was that the hotel is also a nightlife spot. At night, the sound from karaoke, dancing, and loud music was quite noticeable, which might not suit guests looking for a quieter stay. It only last until around 2AM, and might be enough as a white-noise for some people. Breakfast was okay. On weekdays, they offer a set menu which we really appreciated — it was more curated and enjoyable. On weekends, they switch to a buffet style (perhaps due to higher occupancy), but it was a bit average. That said, in general, the food at the hotel was good. Housekeeping was attentive, they checked in every morning, and when we requested cleaning only while we were out, they followed through without issue. We arrived late at night after a long journey from Bangkok and Johor, and were a bit surprised by the number of terms and conditions — for instance, no hotel sandals allowed in the lobby and other small rules. While understandable, it felt a bit restrictive to be met with so many dos and don’ts right after arriving. That said, the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Indonesian hospitality really shines here, and we appreciated their warm service.

It was impossible to sleep during my stay because the hotel operates a nightclub/rooftop bar directly above guest rooms, blasting extremely loud music until 3–4 am. The noise was so intense that the building itself was shaking. This crucial information was never disclosed on the trip.com platform at the time of booking. Had we been informed in advance, we would have certainly chosen to stay elsewhere. A hotel’s primary purpose is to provide rest and accommodation. Running a nightclub upstairs may be acceptable, but only if guests are clearly warned in advance so they can make an informed choice. Failing to disclose this is a fundamental breach of trust and a misrepresentation of the accommodation being offered.

Sold as a 4 stars, but it looks like an old 3 stars. Old building, consumed towels and bed sheets with stains, very noisy rooms (you can hear everything from the corridor). Breakfast is good, but with limited choices, not a 4 stars breakfast. It’s fine for 1/2 nights, but avoid to go during the weekend!
