This was our first hotel in Jakarta with the kids, and overall, it was pretty good. While it might not quite measure up to the Shangri-La, for the price, I think it offers incredible value for money. The kids' play area was decent too. I even saw a staff member meticulously folding towels, which showed a good attention to detail. The only thing I didn't quite understand was why kids weren't allowed in the executive lounge, but thankfully, they opened up a meeting room for us to dine in instead.

The hotel amenities are complete, luxurious, and comfortable. They offer afternoon tea, late-night snacks, and two meals (breakfast and dinner) daily, which are excellent and varied. The hotel even upgraded us to an executive suite for free! It's an old-school luxury hotel with convenient access, and there are several large shopping centers nearby for easy shopping.

Service was amazing here. Everyone was polite and helpful. Location was good as it was near the shopping malls and local eateries which were also excellent. Easy drop off and pickup with high security. They also have a breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet but it is a must try.

This is, without a doubt, the worst of the five hotels I've stayed at in Jakarta. The facilities are outdated, and the room decor is still stuck in the early 2000s, with a 'rustic wood' style where the oxidized wood color gives it a rather 'historic' feel. The fabric on the upholstered sofa was cracked and hadn't been repaired. The service was incredibly poor; at times, I wondered if I was staying in a five-star hotel or a small-town guesthouse. 1. There was a huge queue for check-in, but only two counters were open. It took nearly 30 minutes to get checked in. 2. The front desk mistakenly assigned me a king-size bed room instead of the twin room I booked. After two calls with no response, I went downstairs to the front desk to request a room change, only to be told, 'We don't have twin rooms, we don't do extra beds, and we have no solution.' It wasn't until my father went down to argue that the issue was immediately resolved, and we were given a twin room. 3. There was a long queue for seating at the breakfast restaurant entrance, reliving the nightmare of endless waiting from check-in. It almost made us late for our flight to the airport, and when we left after breakfast, we saw the queue had gotten even longer... I usually don't bother writing reviews, but this time I was just too disappointed, angry, and speechless. If you see this review, please do not book here...

I stopped by late at night and saw a dirty bedding in the room, and apparently they tried to wash it, but without success. I think 5 stars are not acceptable for such a network. There was no mini bar and combs in the bathroom set in the room. The toilet doesn’t flush well. The rain shower doesn’t work. Of the pluses: beautiful view from the window, convenient location, delicious ice cream for breakfast. The lobby is beautifully decorated. And steel, I think that breakfast doesn’t reach 5 stars, where juices are written - it’s chemistry that you can’t drink. In general, the menu is Asian.

JW Marriot resort in heart of city . Superb service level displaying great hospitality . Amazing breakfast and executive meals . Suite size and excellent amenities especially gym , pool is resort type not for lap swim . Counter and service personnel of International standard . Like it

I have stayed there a lot, we used to like to stay here ever visit to Jakarta a few times a year. The last 2 visits we have even booked extra rooms or brought family over. For reference the screenshots are of a video I sent them showing 9 flies on one window in the spa, the spa of all places. It was like that for 2 days I visited the spa in a row which is quite disgusting for a SPA!!! But this time their cold plunge is broken, the steam room was cold and the area spa area was filled with flies. It’s really not nice sharing what is meant to be a relaxing area with flies The was a leak on the floor upstairs that had been there a little while and the floor was soggy. Last time the jacuzzi was cold and the steam room was also cold. It’s really been a bit disappointing the last couple of visits. Do you have processes in place to check the equipment? Who is allowing the flies to remain in the area every day, it’s a bit disgusting. Are they not being checked properly or are people just ignoring the proper cleaning? Their response to the complaint was poor. I even had to chase it up a third time to get a response which i think was the most disappointing part for a repeat customer who brings guests every year. I can forgive mistakes but the same problems again and again annoys me. But I’m a bit believer in seeing how people rectify their mistakes (turn a negative into a positive). But if given a chance to make amends and you ignore it and the. Come back with a lackluster apology on my third time of contacting you- then it’s time to leave a review and hope that makes them take things more seriously. Excellent international brand, but with a local touch when it comes to service. Everything was impeccable until I got hit with checkout car parking managing formalities. Staff needs better parking procedure management, so that guests are not left wondering between floors and doing the employees' job. Left me upset and confused.
