What Could we say? 3 stars?!! WE IS JUST A MOTEL OR 1 STAR ! The moment we entered the room it is smelly , and goovy. The room is really small, and old. We are on ground floor , very noisy

I cancel my room due to snow in forecast .. un lucky hotel not accept to refund.

System was down when I arrived. I didn’t complain but waited patiently for about 30 minutes. Check in was easy and pleasant. They upgraded me to a suite and it was nice

I loved the place

Our room was very charming and clean. The bed was very comfy. It was a tad cold but there were heaters which made it comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly. The price was reasonable.

3 Peaks is well located for skiing at Heavenly or Kirkwood. Easy walk to many dining options, very convenient. Staff is friendly and helpful, hot tub is a welcome diversion after a day of skiing or riding. My recent stay was fine, except for the loud heater, shich obviously had to be used when the temps outside are below freezing, and I could hear the family next door pretty clearly through the wall. So high marks for location, convenience, and amenities, but if you're sound-sensitive, you might want to spend a bit more for a more modernized building.

I would not recommend this place. There were several issues. First, check is was advertised as 3:00. We didn't get into the unit until after 5. I did get to hear about someone putting in their 2 weeks notice. The unit was generally fine. But this is in Lake Tahoe with below freezing temperatures. They had mini splits for heating but did not have them on prior to getting in the units. The mini splits were also very old. As a result it took about 3 hours after check in to get the bedrooms to heat up and it wasn't until morning that the main living area warmed up. Our 2nd night was fine. Then there was dish soap but no sponge or anything else to clean the dishes. Oddly there was dishwasher soap but there is no dishwasher. Then our door to the unit wouldn't lock. It would be shut completely but when you lift the handle you can enter the unit - no key needed. We of course called but only got a voice mail at the office. This was a recurring issue as they never responded to calls about the heat either. It is in a great location but it was an overall poor experience.
