Located in a quiet residential street yet 300m from cafes, restaurants and shops, Woodroffe is also 300m from light rail and numerous bus services. A perfect location Modern, clean and designed for business or tourist stays. A laundry is available at Lobby level along with a cafe and guest microwave oven facilities. Rooms are quiet and spacious. Staff are simply delightful. View from room across yacht club to ocean.

I spent 2 nights in Woodroffe hotel. The receptionists were friendly and helpful. When I visit Southport again, I would love to stay in your hotel again.

The hotel is very clean and the room is spacious. Facility is good. Staff is very friendly. Only if the hotel could provide 24-hour reception, the rating would 10 out of 10.

I stayed here for 5 nights and the location was merely acceptable. The amenities were basic, and the King size bed was actually two single beds pushed together. The mattress was of poor quality, leading to significant back pain. Checking in late was a hassle, and there were timing issues with luggage check-in because of the staff's limited working hours. It’s unacceptable to call this a hotel when there’s no one available to assist customers at the front desk. The late check-out hours are inflexible, and the manager’s demeanor was less than approachable. Overall, the staff failed to exhibit a service-oriented attitude.

Our stay was excellent the hotel location was good. Very good access both to transport, shopping, and food outlets excellent Asian cuisine within a short distance. Service was excellent. The house keeping was of a high quality. The laundry facilities were a real asset as we had been on the road for over a week. We also enjoyed some lovely breakfasts at the hotel. We would have no hesitation on recommending your hotel to others. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay at the Woodroff Hotel with mummy last night. Only flaw is that Netflix and YouTube weren't working on the TV, but that's no big deal. The view was lovely since we were on the highest floor and the location was quiet but convenient as we were able to walk to the Australia Fair shopping centre the next morning. Highly recommend!

Cosy, nice, accessible, friendly, clean, nearby public transport and shops

Hotel is good for pricing, location, and not so picky people. I’ve stayed here twice and it’s been good, noting extraordinary and also nothing extremely disappointing. The worst part about the rooms are the showers which do not have doors that close fully so water splashes around the bathroom and there is no fan in the bathroom to help with the humidity. If you get a king bed, some rooms have two mattresses joined together with a separation in the middle which is not comfortable for your back. It didn’t give a typical hotel vibe if that’s what you’re looking for.

It was a great experience to be lived in Woodroffe Hotel. The staff are kind and respectful, which makes me feel so good. It is so near to the shopping center and the team station that is suitable for people who travel here without their own car. But the facilities in the hotel are not much, it will be better to have a gym room and laundry for people to use.
