The Heidi Bed & Breakfast

My wife and I stayed here this weekend and it was really good ,I can't recommend it enough ,the owners are lovely couple who make you feel so welcome,I would definitely return to this hotel.the room was lovely with flat screen TV sofa to sit on with a brew , kettle also in the room with all your coffee and tags and milk.shower is lovely,and breakfast is 8 till 9 and this also is very good ,with you full English plus continental and hot and cold drinks. Everything things is just outside hotel , promenade fairground town centre bars cafes etc . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back thank you for having us .Carl and Julie xx

Omg Michelle and Ali u have surpassed yourselves yet again . What a fabulous 5 days . Nothing too much trouble, room amazing, breakfast amazing, added extra ie Windmill pub discount, leisure centre free oh and super clean . You guys have an amazing place and were born to do this. We gunna book again soon for nxt year. We really have had the most chilled out 5 days in our busy life . Love to u both 💓. Gary and Ali xx

I stayed there for almost two weeks cause I had to relocate and I lived as a king. Michelle, the owner, is a wonderful person looking after her customers like a family. I felt to be with my family. Wonderful experience. I did not have breakfast but I am sure it would have been delicious. However maybe in the future I will book a couple of night and try the breakfast.

Michelle & Al are incredibly welcoming. The BnB is in a great location & they serve a super breakfast. There is parking at the back of the property. Room was spacious & clean. Tea/coffee facilities provided. Would absolutely stay again. House is a lovely Victorian style house. Access is up steps & access to rooms is also via stairs.

This B & B is not far to walk to the town centre and is a few minutes from the lake. The host are very friendly and make you feel welcome. There is parking round the back of the building. The room was clean and tidy and compact with a large couch and a small table and chairs by the window. There was everything you needed in the room except there were no plugs sockets by the side of the bed. The bed was a bit hard and did creak a lot when moving in it. The bathroom was compact and the shower was small and there was no where to put your shower gel apart from the floor. The shower it self is powerful. The WIFI is good and the TV had a good signal. Breakfast was good with plenty of fruit and cereal etc and lovely full English which you could not fault.

We stayed from Friday to Sunday on a bed and breakfast arrangement. On arrival we were directed to the private car park at the rear of the property. There is on street parking but it is chargeable and controlled until 6pm daily. Blue Badge holders can park free of charge. Michelle and Ali were very welcoming, friendly and attentive. Ali kindly took our suitcase from the car and delivered it to our room. My only observation was that there were steps up to the entrance and once inside, the rooms were on the first and second floors with a staircase serving all rooms. People with mobility issues may have found this difficult. Once inside our room, we found it to be bright, comfortable and clean with a small en suite. The hospitality tray was well stocked and adequate for our stay. Michelle explained everything to us together with recommendations for evening meal and drinks nearby, which I must say was ‘spot on’. Breakfast on both mornings was a full English but also cereals, fruits, juice and toast with jams, etc. it was very good and satisfying. Our room was a family room and Our own personal opinion of our bed was that the mattress was not to OUR liking, however this is personal preference. The Town and Promenade were a short walk away in opposite directions. It is ‘out of season’ and therefore there was no activities in operation. The choice of Eateries and Hostelries was abundant so well catered for. Was our stay at The Heidi B&B enjoyable? Yes it was. Was it Value for Money? Yes it was. Would we return? Yes we would ( If they will have us!) Our heartfelt thanks to Michelle and Ali for looking after us.
