Went to enjoy a night of entertainment, a tribute to Grease/Dirty dancing,was a great night in a wonderful hotel, love the views over lake,the food was lovely and the rooms are comfortable and spacious, service was spot on,would stay again, great value for money 😁

Booked the penthouse. Beautiful setting. Stunning room. Was attending a wedding at the hotel. Spoke to Rhonda the day before our stay to see if we were able to check in earlier than the 3pm that was stated. Arrived at 11.30am and was able to check in and go to.the room. Breakfast was included, full English, pastries, fruit juice, tea and coffee. The parking wasn't included in our stay but this £15 charge was waivered. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience

Great position by the waterfront and a short walk from Lord Street. Work going on in the hotel but this did not affect our stay. Smooth check in and check out. Nice smallish outside area for drinks and food. Did not eat here as we have previous plans. Be aware that although it says free parking it is not free if you do not book your stay directly with the hotel. We were asked for £15 for 24 hours. But the hotel did say the municipal Carl park right next to the hotel carpark was only £5 for 24 hours, and we used that it it was fine. Would use again when in the area

I can't fault how clean the hotel was, the food was excellent, the staff were extremely pleasant, the only complaint we had was the matress was sagging in the middle and not very comfortable. We both woke up with back ache.

Lovely hotel in a lovely location. This is the second time I have stayed, and I don't want to stay anywhere else now.

Rooms qell set out. Pillows well worn need new ones. 4 star should have fridge in room. Even though there was a emergency event happening things were handled well.

All you can eat breakfast amazing, hotel and staff great, room clean and tidy

The hotel was nice and clean. Breakfast was chaotic e.g. long wait for table (despite being asked to pick a timeslot and being there at that time), nothing to bring milk to your table, the hot water urn being empty, some of the breakfast items had run out, etc. I would stay there again. WARNING - parking is expensive £15 a night, unless you booked your room directly with the hotel. Travel websites might save you a few quid but check first. You have been warned!

The room was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice and hot.

Overnight stay to meat friends for birthday italian restaurant booking on Lord St Served our needs adequately but we did not use facilities available so cannot comment from a wider perspective

The description said I’d be getting a city view but there was no view at all it was just a room with a window looking out onto the roof. me and my partner felt quite claustrophobic and at discomfort the room was very dated so I had no choice but to speak to reception to try and get it amended. Upon speaking to reception I was advised the only thing they could do was upgrade my room (which would be £20 extra ) as there was no other rooms available in the hotel. I felt like I had no choice but to upgrade as we could not stay in the room we were originally given. The room we was then upgraded to was the room we actually paid for and one that matched the descriptions on the website. I feel a bit conned out of our money because why did we pay extra to get the room we were supposed to have initially. We was very polite and the receptionist was not willing to help really. The initial room was 224 I then upgraded to room 413
