We booked a suite here and couldn't have been a happier, waking up with a view of the pyramids every morning was amazing. We also had breakfast every morning in the restaurant on the top of the hotel which had an even better view of the pyramids. It was a great base of operations for the pyramids and all of Cairo. You have to weigh the pros and cons of a hotel in the Giza area vs Cairo... But I have ot say, the pros of waking up with an amazing view out weighed it all. Worth it.

GGuest UserWe stayed as a couple for a week and I will certainly return to Egypt and in particular to this hotel for the excellent value for money but above all for all the support provided by the owner and his family. We had all the necessary support for organizing the activities we wanted to do and I recommend booking the tours through the hotel as there are two main advantages: 1) the price is very competitive and lower than online booking platforms 2 ) compared to local tour operators the prices are similar but those organized by the hotel are private tours with no queues and freedom of organization (which I consider fundamental both in terms of departure times and in terms of staying in each activity). The owners of the Hotel, in addition to being prepared to provide any service and information, they have a vast network of affiliated shops and I recommend contacting the owner or his children to make sure you have quality products at a competitive price as in tourist areas the products are offered at tourist prices much higher than those offered through local intermediaries The Hotel has two great advantages, in addition to complete support as just described: fantastic view from the terrace which allows relaxation with a view of the pyramids and consequent proximity to the entrance gate of the Giza plateau. It is a hotel equipped with all the necessary comforts, the beds are really very comfortable and the rooms are well organised
AAjiejie🏨Khan DuiDar Inn
I really want to strongly recommend it spontaneously
The sunrise and sunset scenery is so beautiful that I want to cry
The boss is so nice that I want to cry
The breakfast is rich and delicious, much better than the buffet I spent more than 100 yuan on
Can you believe that the first time I ate fresh figs was in the hotel breakfast in Cairo Giza
The boss also prepared snacks and afternoon tea for us for free
#Hotel Recommendation [Topic]# #Travel [Topic]# I can see the lawn of Mina Palace directly from the terrace
See the panoramic view of 6 pyramids
Hear the music of Adan from 3 mosques at the same time at sunset in the afternoon
First night in Egypt, super perfect experience
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a great location, and it should be the closest to the pyramids. You can see the pyramid light show from the terrace at night. The most important thing is that the hotel entrance is right in front of the ticket office, so you don't have to queue. The key is to bring a credit card, as most tickets in Egypt can only be purchased with a credit card
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a good location and has a nice environment. The boss is very enthusiastic and has a stuffed toy named Ai Li. He interacts with dog lovers on the roof every day. It is very cute. They also provide breakfast for two days. The photos on the roof are great. Invincible movie, I will stay here next time
After driving through chaotic Cairo, (Our driver was calm and collected), and still in a culture shock, we arrived at the Inn at 3 am. We were politely shown our room. The canteen was always open for coffee, tea and bottled water which we were grateful of in these early hours. The room was clean (including bathroom) and the bedding (cushions included) were fresh. Fridge, tv and water kettle. The breakfast buffet: an assortment of fruit, cheese, breads, eggs – boiled and scrambled, salad and traditional homemade sauces etc. etc. enough for a hearty European or Egyptian appetite. Coffee and tea all day long free of charge! The employees were informative, helpful, attentive and most of all so friendly - like being a visiting family member!! It was a most enjoyable stay that I can truly recommend: an authentic Egyptian warm-hearted experience!!! Thankyou!
YYouxiangThere is a restaurant on the roof where you can see the pyramids and the Sphinx. The grilled chicken for dinner was delicious.
I was asked to move to the room of the Pyramids View because the room of the Side Pyramids View was in maintenance. I was worried about the sound of the ventilation fan, but it was clean and the linen was new and easy to spend.
GGuest UserThe hotel was okay, and Mohamed was accommodating. We booked a room with a pyramid view; well, you can see the pyramids if you hang through the window and look backwards, but it is not an actual room view. We were told we could only pay with euros or dollars but not Egyptian dollars, or via bank transfer (with an extra fee (!) on top). There was no prior knowledge about paying extra for not being able to exchange money at the airport or reception despite the fact it is advertised the hotel offers money exchange. Do not take me wrong; the beds are comfy, breakfast is tasty, and you can see the pyramids from the roof while having a brekkie. The breakfast staff was helpful, too. Airport shuttle was top and super quick. As I said, there must have been a language barrier, which is, hey, okay, I am not a native speaker either. But there is no shame in advertising less (and then offering more) and asking questions if you are not sure what the question was. We all work in hospitality, in hotels in fact, and trust me, clear communication can save any situation. It would be nice changing what is actually provided, no spa, swimming pool, money exchange or laundry service. Offering clothes washing but not drying can be tricky when you have an early flight to catch on the following day early Morning. (Especially when promised via text and verbally the day before and day the same day too several times everything is washed and dried!) Update your amenities and services your offer and you will be great guys. The place has potential! But, sadly, for what we paid and what we got did not match at all.
RRaaaaaiThe room was spacious and nice. The pyramids were very close, so it was very convenient for sightseeing. There was a security guard at the gate, so I think it was a safe place to stay. The door was not properly set up and I couldn't open it, but the staff explained it to me and I was able to do it. There were a few flies in the room, which bothered me a little. I thought that this was normal in Egypt, so I let it go, but if it bothers you, you might want to stay away. Overall, I was satisfied.
Very friendly and helpful staff, AC in the room working well, rooms were clean. Offers a great breakfast with a beautiful view! And at a walkable distance to the pyramids. Loved that they offer cold water at the reception! Only 2 minor points: On the second floor in our room the wifi wasn't working. Adress on google maps is not clear, name of the hotel is called: 'the great pyramids view' for one or another reason with no recognisable pictures of the hotel itself what can lead to confusion when you're trying to find your way back. Overall a great experience for a very good price, would recommend!
The good… Staff on the front desk are super friendly. Very helpful. Very happy to help with travel, tours and aways welcome you back with a smile and a chat after a trip out. Fantastic view of the pyramids, with a roof top terrace where. you can sit at any time of the day, with no pressure to buy drinks. Very close to the entrance to the pyramids. Free taxi from the airport. Easily found the driver on arrival. It’s a cheap place to stay. The not so good… The hotel is in a back alley, along side where the horses are stabled for the evening. We were there in February so the smell wasn’t to bad. But the horses run freely in the evening so it can be a bit nervy getting past them sometimes. Breakfast was basic. Mediocre. No orange juice included just tea or coffee. Hotel room isn’t to clean. Shower door missing. Sheets were clean but top quilts were dirty and stained. Very unappealing! It could all do with a good scrub. We did have a view of the pyramids but directly outside the window is a lot of debris, dirt and rubbish. At around 5.30 the local roaster starts to crow and continues for around an hour on and off.
