The room size is moderate, the bathroom is big enough, and the hot water comes out quickly. The only bad thing is the breakfast. Apart from eggs, there are only three types of meat dishes, smoked fish, which are not suitable for my stomach. Front desk staff are very enthusiastic and professional Opposite the gate is a life supermarket, next to the mall, 8 minutes walk from the train station, 20 minutes by train to Ben Gurion Airport, 9 new shekels, super cost-effective.

Lets start with the good. Great location and clean, breakfast was very good. I lived in Israel for over thirty year so I am aware of the Israeli version of ”service”. That being said. We made a reservation at the sister property Leonardo beach hotel, with a sea view room. That hotel was then closed (COVID?) so we were switched to a ”comparable” sea view room at the Leonardo Art hotel for the same price. When were arrived we were informed that sea view rooms were reserved for suites only and that we received an ”upgraded” room- well, this room was a small, dingy, hovel. The price we paid for this hovel of a room was therefore outrageous. The desk staff were surly and when I asked a question she pointed to a handout and said ”its all on the sheet”. Another front desk girl was using an old handkerchief to repeatedly blow and wipe her nose while touching the phone, patrons keys etc... so much for hand hygiene during pandemic. How about a stairwell from the 3rd to 2nd floor barricaded closed by mattresses? Firetrap? (see photo) The safe in our room was obviously broken and eviscerated (see photo) Lastly there is very little signage to be able to find wither the back or front entrance to the hotel and the entrance smells like an open sewer. Just sayin... there are many better options on the Tel Aviv beach. We certainly will take advantage of them on our next visit.

Located on Tel Aviv Beach, the hotel has a sea view and a balcony with views. The room is small, the facilities are OK, the breakfast is not bad. The Sabbath buffet dinner is more expensive, and the monks are 300 shekels. The front desk staff is very friendly, but the work efficiency is low.

Beautiful hotel but missed the mark. The hotel is very modern and completely renovated but some of the choices did not make sense. We had a suite but had a very small bathroom and the shower always leaked onto the floor due to the design. The service was ok - most of the staff were helpful but we didn’t see anyone other than the chef and Nicole at breakfast put themselves out for us. Nicole went above and beyond for my family with ensuring we had a delicious gluten free birthday cake with candles and sparkles to celebrate my son’s birthday. She also made sure to have gluten free pancakes and French toast for breakfast. Chef Aaron also made sure my kids had food to eat. We had a few times where we would smell cigarette smoke in the hallways and even through our room at night. Supposedly they fine guests but who knows if that is true. We also were counting on the pool being opened but it was closed which we believe is due to the refugees living at the hotel. We booked the hotel to use the pool but we’re told it was closed due to the winter - other hotels around had theirs opened. We felt like this hotel has potential to be a 5 star but definitely missed the mark with their attitude.

Great location at the 'entrance' to Jaffa with views of the sea, broad walk up the coastline with all the modern high rise of Tel Aviv. Old city behind has lots of charm, restaurants etc. One morning we comfortably walked along the seafront right up past the Hilton and back as well as all around the port area / centre of Jaffa. Hotel is beautifully and tastefully restored / built, it is charming and stylish. We felt welcomed on check-in (I think it was Dean) and although arrived early, our room was ready. We had booked a basic room but were very fortunate to get upgraded 2 levels to an Executive Room on the 4th floor (with access to Lounge). We overlooked the roundabout, views of sea and coastline, totally lovely. Room is beautifully designed, very comfortable, good size, fabulous large bathroom with separate rain shower. We were here 2 nights only which included Holocaust Memorial Day so all restaurants/leisure closed from 6pm in the whole of Israel. Luckily hotel catering remains open. One would have thought that as a guest of the hotel, they should make sure that there is space in their restaurant and only keep it for in-house guests. It was not the case. No space in restaurant but managed to eat in the bar which serves a limited 'milk' menu including sushi. It was still pleasant, we ordered a pizza to share which was decent. The lovely Sophie made the experience more pleasant and kindly remembered we wanted some milk to take back to our room for our Nespresso in the morning! A note on the 'Mediterranee', the Lounge incase you need to decide whether to book a room with access. It is only open 12:30-6:30 so great if you usually have lunch and beverages. The food is top notch. A fabulous, delicious and well presented array of mainly mezze dishes including various cold fish, some hot dishes (pasta and vegetables) as well as fruit and some sweet things. Wine, tea/coffee, some spirits but couldn't see any mixes apart from fruit juices. Lovely deck outside to sit and relax. Only negatives - staff can be a bit aloof and not very attentive or proactive, especially up on the pool area for service and cleaning up. - bed linen felt cheap (though towels nice), not high cotton count like one gets at most 5* properties I have been to Tel Aviv a couple of times before for business and stayed in one of the modern luxury high rise. If I came back, this is the only hotel I would stay in.

This is not the first time that I have been in Israel, and this time I decided to stay at the Intercontinental. This is one of the best hotels in which I managed to stay in this country. Spacious hotel , clean rooms , pleasant smell everywhere , excellent temperature inside ,swimming pool and most importantly SERVICE ! Everyone was extremely attentive, polite and helpful. I also had access to two lounges (as they call them) on the 3rd and 24th floors. The service provided by their team is comparable to that of the top hotels in Switzerland and France. I would also like to note the excellent work of the waiters there. Oleg was always happy to see us and could always keep up the conversation, just like Sergey, who worked on the 3rd floor, where we went to have coffee and relax, he is one of the few employees who is fluent in French, and provides top-level service and this huge advantage! I also wanted to notice the breakfast and the location of the hotel. It is located near the old city of Jaffa and near the central market. It was very convenient and comfortable for us to stay there, and we will definitely come back to you! Thank you very much Inter Hotel for everything!

The hotel is not bad, the location is also okay, and it is very close to the seaside, it is so expensive. The hotels over there are relatively expensive. In fact, it is equivalent to the domestic level of about 4 stars, or a city with high consumption.

Excellent location and service. The cleaning needs to be improved a bit. The breakfast is standard. I was there a few months ago and I didn't have a great experience. We received an additional night for free from the hotel. Tomer from the guest retention department was very helpful and kind, and the second time we were there was much more successful. We'll be back

First off, religious Jews should make sure not to stay here! When I checked in on Friday I asked the front desk for a metal key to use on Shabbat. It took her a while to find it, but she gave it to me. Before Shabbat began I ran an errand and when I returned to the hotel, I noticed that I needed to use my key card to swipe in. (This is presumably for security, as the front desk is located on the rooftop and there is really nothing going on on the entrance level.) I returned to the front desk and asked the woman there how to enter the hotel on Shabbat and she said that since I couldn't swipe, I could ring the bell. As a Shabbat-observant Jew I can't use either the electric key card or the electric doorbell on Shabbat, and I told her that. She told me ”well then you'll just have to find someone to ring for you.” Shabbat-observant Jews also won't ask someone to do something on Shabbat that they can't do themselves, so I had to wait outside the hotel for a very long time upon returning on Friday night and Saturday afternoon, until someone else came along who was going inside. More generally, there were a couple of gross cleanliness moments. I found a huge cockroach in my shower one morning. I also came back one evening to find the bathmat neatly folded, but sitting in the sink, which was odd and kind of gross. Additionally, the water coming out of the shower smelled persistently sulfuric, which is weird given that Israel has great tap water. Finally, the blackout curtains in my room were stuck closed on one side, obstructing my view from the window and restricting the amount of light that comes into the room. Mid way through my stay, while I was trying to close the curtains on the other side, the dangling handle you use to move the curtain fell off. Rather than fixing it, the housekeeping staff just pushed it under the curtains, where it remained until the end of my stay. All in all, it wasn't a nightmare stay or anything like that. The location is good (though *loud*), and the rooftop pool/lounge is nice. Still, I will never stay here again, certainly not over Shabbat, and if you are a Shabbat observant Jew, you won't want to stay here either.

GGuest UserA very enjoyable stay, thanks to the wonderful service delivered by every member of staff. From the front reception desk to the cleaners to the breakfast staff, everyone was exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to make guests feel special. The hotel itself is situated on HaYarkon Street, just behind the Hilton hotel and only a block in one direction from the beach and a couple of blocks in the other direction from Dizengoff St. The bedrooms are on the small side and decor is a little dated, but generally in good condition and very clean. In any case, with so much to do in Tel Aviv, very few people come to stay in their bedroom. Breakfast is served in the entrance lobby lounge area and is excellent, even by the high standards set in Israel. Not only is there a wide selection of foods on offer, but the quality is very high and generally very healthy too (chocolate babka aside, but exceptions can always be made for that!). Overall, it was a great experience - the reviews are true - and I will definitely return on future visits to Tel Aviv.

In honor of my wife's birthday, I decided to go on a romantic vacation in Tel Aviv. I heard about the Ink hotel from a friend and decided to go for it. Booking the night was very smooth, but I felt the need to talk on the phone with someone to get more information. On the phone I talked to Dean. After two sentences, I realized that ”I found a friend” whom her pleasantness and professionalism will do as much as possible to please our stay. When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by Inbal, the hotel manager, who was amazing to us and gave us the feeling that we are in the right place. The room was cozy and well designed. We dined at the hotel's Restaurant; The atmosphere there is great, we felt as if we were in New York, in my opinion this is the best Asian restaurant in Tel Aviv or in Israel.

GGuest UserGreat location in short walking distance from Jaffa Old City and Port. We got a very friendly welcome at arrival and this set the tone for our stay which was very pleasant and comfortable. Spacious room and bathroom with good facilities including fast wifi. Plentiful breakfast buffet on the top floor with seating indoor and also outside on the roof top terrasse. Our only query is that smoking is allowed on the roof top terrasse, so we were exposed to a lot of passive smoking during breakfast.

Went with my wife for an evening in Tel Aviv to celebrate her birthday. Room was spacious, well-appointed, good view of the sea. Concierge, Reuven, was very helpful with arrangements. Had dinner in the grill restaurant: delicious prime ribs. Service was somewhat slow, despite our telling waiter we had ballet tickets and a time limit to get going. Breakfast in restaurant overlooking beach was fun-watching the yoga classes and sailing classes while stuffing ourselves with the brunch. Accessing the hotel from the road is difficult due to its location, and parking adjacent to the hotel (garage not owned by the hotel) was much more expensive than expected. Best NOT to come by car if it can be avoided.

TTomShiRoom is medium size. Nicely decorated. I think we had the room that is presented on their website. The beds are very comfortable. Even the coach was very comfortable to sleep on. The bathroom is big with a large shower cabin. The linen and towels were white and soft. The mini bar it is quite small. There are not many places to store you things except to leave them in the open. The air conditioner was working very well. We were welcomed in the room with a bottle of sparkling wine on ice. The room was cleaned every day and the towels were replaced on daily basis. Breakfast was from 7.30-10.30, and it was very good with a lot of salads, salmon, omelette, cakes and fruits. The coffee and tea were served at the table from the bar. You just indicate what you need. The juice was made on the spot with a machine from fresh squeezed oranges. It was a mixture between French cuisine and oriental one. The elevator works very well. The staff from the reception was very helpful- they can give you beach towels, they can arrange the transfer to the airport- 3 people with 3 suite cases-190 NIS in cash. We need ice for an injured foot and they helped us with a bag of ice when we asked for. The beech is 1.5 km if you are walking and you are always passing thorough Carmel Market that is fill with all the good things to eat. But you have another option - behind the hotel, across AM-PM supermarket is the bus station for bus no 4, that can take you to all the beaches across Tel Aviv. Make sure you have the electronic wallet to be purchased in advance. One ride is 5.5 NIS. We did not like the fact that the iron windows were not properly closed and you could hear all the noise from outside. The lack of a drying rack for the swimming suit.

Delightful change away from hussle and bussle and just a short walk to stunning beach and cafes. Staff couldnt do enough for us which was such a welcome change from other hotels. Rooms very clean and attractive, English movie channel, but the food truck was exceptional! Well done the Muse for creating a welcoming, friendly environment.

NNewYorkercynicWhat passed for a five star hotel in Tel Aviv in the fifties—or even in the eighties when this hotel was seemingly last updated—is no longer competitive. The hotel feels tired and sorely in need of updating and maintenance. Room furniture is beat up and worn, with really shabby carpet—at least in the deluxe city-view room category—and the pool area is sorely in need of a refresh and better maintenance—glass surrounding the deck area seemingly has not been washed in decades, reminding me of NYC subways in the seventies. The elevators are also really depressing, like a Time Machine to the days when Israel was a developing country. But what really lets the hotel down is the breakfast buffet. The dining room is poorly arranged, making even just reaching one’s table akin to navigating an obstacle course. And securing coffee is nothing short of an ordeal. A coffee stand staffed by just one server generates lines of guests worthy of a high school cafeteria. And if you should want milk for your coffee, it is not on offer at the coffee station or at the table. You have to go clear across the dining room to the cold cereal section of the buffet with your hot cup of coffee. And the food offerings just don’t compare favorably with what the competition is doing. But, front desk staff were helpful and welcoming, which cannot always be said about everyone in the Israeli hospitality industry.
