The room terrace during the autumn foliage season is truly dreamlike, beautiful in different ways both at night and during the day! It's worth coming just for the terrace and garden alone! A special highlight was leaving a note on Trip.com hoping for a room on the second floor. I didn't have high hopes it would be seen, but they actually arranged it! The service attitude is excellent. After arriving at Karuizawa Station, you can call the hotel to pick you up, and they're very quick, arriving in about 5 minutes. The only minor drawback is that there was a noticeable humming sound in the room, whether it was the heater or some other machine running. It was loud enough that I could still hear it even with earplugs in. I tried turning off all the appliances I could find in the room, but it was still there. At the time, I thought maybe I was just too sensitive to noise, but there was no such sound at the other hotel I stayed at the next day.

Very very beautiful house, the owner is also very attentive, all kinds of layouts reveal the owner's taste. The location is very close to the train station, very convenient, and the owner's service is very warm and intimate. Free bicycles are provided to play Karuizawa easily, especially like bicycle roaming on sunny days. Karuizawa, quiet and beautiful country life. If you need dinner, you need to book in advance. We didn't book and can't comment, but the breakfast was really great! Balanced nutrition and delicious. The room is small, but very clean and well-equipped

The brand new hotel, which opened on April 25, 2026, is a Nordic design hotel made of wood. The location is at Karuizawa Station and it will arrive as soon as you leave the train station. The soundproofing measures of the room are very good, and the sound of the train is completely inaudible. I chose one berth and two meals. Breakfast was placed outside the door. It was a nutritious, delicious and hearty breakfast. Dinner was a noble Japanese restaurant in the pedestrian street. The chef took a board of Japanese cuisine. Guests can enjoy a variety of drinks, snacks, ice cream and various wines in the pedestrian street for free, and a new hot spring for free, which is really good value for money.

They kindly upgraded our room on the day of arrival! The location was super convenient for getting anywhere, and my boyfriend and I really enjoyed the private bath, which had flexible hours. There was coffee and tea available at the front desk, which we took with us when checking out. It's a really great hotel!
