"The hotel staff was fantastic. Especially the housekeeping ladies were very skilled, courteous, and punctual.
However, a major downside of this hotel concerns the showers in the rooms, which should be a basic and essential service in a four-star hotel.
The water quality is very poor, and the shower water flow is extremely low and inconsistent, with no way to adjust the temperature properly.
Not to mention the smell of the water, which clearly indicates that the plumbing system needs a complete overhaul as soon as possible."

The people were absolutely amazing. I ended up in their property across the street (Enigma) which had the rooftop bar.
Had amazing eggs Benedict (with salmon) one morning in the restaurant. Excellent.
Plenty to do in the area. Great location - lots of activity, but still quiet to get some sleep.
Can’t say enough. Would definitely stay here again.

You're talking about a top 3 hotel in Panama City? I'd say it's the worst hotel for the money.
No challah, no slippers, everything is old, and parking is paid.
The breakfast is budget-hotel-quality.
I'll never stay at a Hilton again.

Our stay was great, nice location and good service! Also the food was very good. Only thing missing was some seating space in the room. And a 5 star hotel like pool and a free sauna.

The hotel location is very close to the Huawei Panama office, 200 meters walk, the hotel facilities are relatively new, the catering is good, the service staff is very professional, but also help me a little while walking, the trip is very pleasant. Of course, dining at the restaurant next to the hotel is also good.

Nice hotel, but had a little problem with the front desk. They charged much more than Ctrip. Later I asked Ctrip to extend my stay and we didn't need to change the room. Ctrip is really awesome.

SUILING Charlotte yangshanshanCleanliness: Daily cleaning only consisted of changing towels and tidying the bed. The bathroom wasn't vacuumed and there was a lot of hair.
Facilities: Old, and the air conditioning was noisy.
Ambiance: The room had a slightly damp smell.
Service: Acceptable.
Breakfast was okay, had the basics, acceptable. However, there were mosquitoes on some of the cold dishes!!!!

The room is big and the location is good. I got up early and went out for a run and soon ran to the beach. The hotel has trendy colors and the swimming pool is too small, but the breakfast is very rich and tastes good.

Guest UserStayed 2 nights, hotel and room normal. In front of the hotel there is Av. Balboa, busy day and night, so you can hear a bit of noise.
During our stay there was construction work behind the hotel, so the pool (which is small for those who want to swim 7/7 m) is not nice to use because of the loud noise. The breakfast does not offer much choice and with products not at the level of a hotel of this rating. For the price I paid the quality/price ratio was OK, but I saw that it can also cost up to CHF 50.00 more per night. We will return to Panama City at the end of our tour of the country, but not to the Méridien.
Kind and competent staff, good WI-FI.

However, the reception staff was disappointing: they refused to check me in for half an hour because they hadn't seen my payment, even though I'd paid everything in advance. To avoid the wait, they offered a $300 deposit. It's a long way from the ocean and the promenade; you have to take a taxi. There's a nice pool, but the spa leaves much to be desired.
