We had the absolute pleasure of staying at The Laurus in Sentosa last month, and it was one of the most memorable hotel experiences we’ve ever had. As a brand-new property that opened in October 2025, everything felt fresh, pristine, and thoughtfully designed from the moment we arrived. Our suite was exceptionally spacious at 115 square metres – an incredible luxury in Singapore, where such generous room sizes are rare. The décor struck the perfect balance: high-end and luxurious without ever feeling over-the-top. It exuded a refined elegance that made the space feel like a true home away from home. My wife and I both felt instantly relaxed and comfortable. The room amenities were outstanding. We especially appreciated the premium Devialet Bluetooth speaker, the self-service coffee machine with a milk dispenser, and the thoughtful filtered water taps offering room-temperature and hot water. These details not only added convenience but also reflected a genuine commitment to sustainability by reducing single-use plastics. The bathroom was another highlight – spacious and with powerful water pressure that made every shower a delight. What truly elevated our stay, however, was the exceptional service. From the warm and enthusiastic welcome by the manager at check-in to the attentive care throughout our stay, the staff went above and beyond. A special mention goes to the delightful team member Ngang Ngang (I hope I’ve spelled that correctly!), who personally delivered a charming owl stuffed toy to our room as a welcome gift. My wife adores owls, so this small, personal touch brought us so much joy and perfectly captured the hotel’s thoughtful approach to hospitality. Every aspect of the service felt attentive, genuine, and meticulous. We truly didn’t want to leave and found ourselves wishing we could extend our stay indefinitely. The Laurus has set a new standard for luxury in Singapore, seamlessly blending modern comfort, elegant design, and heartfelt service. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and will definitely be returning on our next trip to Singapore. Thank you to the entire team for creating such a special experience! 🙂

The hotel environment is beautiful, like a resort in the city center. My children absolutely loved the outdoor pool and splash facilities. When they learned that it was one adult and two children staying, they thoughtfully pulled out the sofa bed so there were three beds in the room. Although the hotel is a bit old, the facilities are very well maintained, and I'd give the hardware a high score. The breakfast quality also met my already high expectations, with a wide variety of choices and excellent quality. There's a shuttle bus every hour to the busiest part of Orchard Road. However, in terms of service, I'm only giving a 3. My disappointment lies with the check-in process. When we arrived by taxi, there was no greeter. At the check-in counter, there were three queues, with about three families in each. I picked one and waited for about 20 minutes to be served. At the time, I thought the efficiency here was a bit low, and there wasn't the usual welcoming smile or a glass of water like in other four or five-star hotels. While I was thinking this, a female manager walked back from a distance, looked at me with a cold expression, and asked, 'Are you not queuing? Look, everyone else is queuing.' Her unreasonable and unfounded accusation made me feel embarrassed and offended. Was this a stereotypical prejudice against Chinese faces? I explained in English, but she remained noncommittal. Instead, the staff member who was actually checking me in and understood the situation said 'sorry' to me. In short, this female manager's arrogance and discrimination marred my good impression of the hotel. I hope she sees this review.

The Banyan Tree Mandai Rainforest in Singapore offers a truly unique and luxurious rainforest retreat. Its prime location is a major highlight, with the Zoo and Night Safari within walking distance. The hotel also provides a free shuttle service to and from the various parks. This means no rushing back to the city after a day at the zoo; you can simply return to the hotel and immerse yourself in the rainforest ambiance – perfect for families. The hotel's architecture is outstanding, surrounded by extensive native greenery. The rooftop infinity pool offers expansive views, creating a wonderful atmosphere for sunset watching. The rooms are brightly lit and airy, with rainforest views right outside the window. If you're lucky, you might even spot some small animals in the trees. The kids' club offers a wide range of activities, great for burning off energy. The spa experience is relaxing, and the amenities are high-quality. The hotel's commitment to environmental sustainability is commendable, with reusable water cups provided in guest rooms instead of single-use plastic bottles. This hotel is highly recommended for families whose main itinerary revolves around Mandai Wildlife Reserve, who are looking for a unique rainforest vacation experience, and who want to avoid the hassle of traveling back and forth to the city, provided they have a sufficient budget. If you're just on a regular sightseeing trip and don't plan on spending much time at the zoo, you might find the price a bit high. For the same budget, you could find hotels in Singapore city with more comprehensive amenities and better overall value.

It was a very pleasant trip. I've always had a good impression of Conrad, and my stays at several of their hotels in China have been excellent, so I chose Conrad again for my trip to Singapore. It didn't disappoint. Although the facilities aren't as new as those in China, the cleanliness was impeccable, and the service was absolutely satisfying. It was my child's birthday this month, and the front desk thoughtfully prepared a little card and a small cake, which was a really warm gesture. I will definitely choose to stay at Conrad again on my next visit to Singapore!

I stayed here again after six years and still found it to be okay. It was the same room type, and they told us they upgraded us again, just like last time. Hygiene: Good. Environment: Many attractions are within walking distance, and the surrounding area is very convenient. Service: Good. Although the breakfast selection wasn't huge, it was refined, and the restaurant staff were very friendly. I initially hesitated to book a second night after seeing some negative reviews, and ended up paying an extra 400 RMB! 😂😂😂😂 Honestly, besides the price, I think everything else about this hotel is flawless. It's a century-old building with a rich history. Downstairs, there are also restaurants, bars, and a theatre. It feels very upscale. The value for money is pretty good! 👍

I spent a long time choosing a hotel in Singapore before finally settling on this one, mainly because it's quite new, having just been built in 2023! The hotel's location is excellent – quiet yet close to the action. It's easy to get around using Grab, and if you prefer the MRT, Orchard station is about a 10-minute walk away. There is some construction nearby, but as tourists, it didn't really bother us. The room size was quite generous, and they even upgraded one of my rooms – wow, an outdoor garden! Ms. Xu (from Shanghai) at the front desk was incredibly warm and friendly, making us feel very welcome. Thank you! The only thing is I haven't yet received the deposit I paid during check-in. If that's returned smoothly, I'd give this place a 10 out of 10, haha! I would definitely book Parkroyal Collection Orchard again on my next trip to Singapore.

For my trip to Singapore, I want to extend my sincere gratitude to Atiq, an outstanding staff member at the Fairmont Hotel. A small incident occurred during our trip, which truly highlighted the hotel's professional and heartwarming service. We stayed at the Fairmont Hotel for our first stop, and then headed to Sentosa for the next part of our itinerary. After checking in at Sentosa and just as we were about to head to Resorts World, my child suddenly realized that their blue backpack, containing nearly completed summer homework, had been left on a sofa in the Fairmont Hotel lobby. The thought of losing all that hard-earned homework instantly panicked my child, and as parents, we were at a loss and quite flustered. In this critical moment, with assistance from the Sentosa side, Atiq from the Fairmont's concierge team responded swiftly. He carefully verified and confirmed that both the backpack and the summer homework were intact. He efficiently coordinated the inter-hotel transfer, immediately arranging a taxi to deliver the lost bag to our Sentosa hotel as quickly as possible. From locating the lost backpack, verifying information, coordinating communication, to the actual delivery of the item, the entire cross-location handling process took only thirty minutes. Atiq's exceptional efficiency and calm, professional crisis management left us both surprised and deeply touched. Heartfelt thanks to Atiq for his dedicated efforts! The responsibility and commitment of the Fairmont Hotel staff made this overseas trip exceptionally warm and perfect. A definite 👍, highly recommended!

This time, I stayed for one night after a cruise. Since it was a post-cruise stay, the room was very spacious, allowing for a comfortable and relaxing time. I was particularly satisfied with the food. The buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, and everything was delicious, making it a highlight of our stay. Our whole family enjoyed the meal. We also used the pool. After experiencing the crowded pools on Disney Cruise Line, the kids absolutely loved the hotel's pool, finding it very comfortable. It was a great place to unwind after the cruise. Another memorable aspect was the hand soap in the room. It had a wonderful fragrance, so much so that I wanted to buy it to use at home. Unfortunately, I was told it wasn't for sale, which was a shame. This time, we booked two rooms for five people. We had requested a twin room for one of them, but this request wasn't accommodated, so three of us ended up using a triple room. It felt a bit cramped for three people, and we had to use the sofa for sleeping. We were informed at check-in that an extra bed would incur a charge, so I think clearer information beforehand would have helped us prepare more comfortably. Regarding the staff's service, there were no particular concerns; overall, it felt quite ordinary. On the other hand, a slight disappointment was the green cushion on the bed. It had a very strong, surprising odor. We couldn't use it and had to leave it on the floor. Since cushions can come into direct contact with skin, I believe frequent cleaning of the covers would make them more reassuring to use. The odor this time was quite intense, and it might make me more conscious of cushion conditions when staying at other hotels in the future. Also, Singapore has many large buildings, and it was sometimes difficult to figure out where we were within the hotel. Even with maps, navigating was a bit confusing, and it was a bit disappointing that we couldn't fully appreciate the hotel's good location before our stay ended. Overall, we made many good memories, including the spacious and comfortable room, the varied and delicious buffet, and the pool and lounge access that the kids enjoyed. However, there were also areas that could be improved for an even more comfortable stay, such as the odor of the room cushion and the information regarding room occupancy and extra beds. Although it was only a one-night stay, it was a relaxing time after the cruise and a good time for the family. Thank you.

voco Orchard Singapore is ideally located on Orchard Road, just 100 meters from the Orchard MRT station. Despite facing the bustling Orchard Road, it's surprisingly quiet at night with no significant traffic noise. The hotel boasts a rooftop with a fine dining restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, and a gym for guests to enjoy. The rooms are also quite spacious, suitable for solo travelers, couples, or even families. Breakfast offers a wide variety of choices. All in all, it's a hotel with excellent value for money.

We celebrate our wedding anniversary and we enjoyed our time at the hotel and near the areas of Sentosa. It’s like a home away from home. We appreciated the warm welcome, especially as my husband had just celebrated his birthday before our stay Keep it up and definitely will choose this hotel again💛🏝️
