"The room was decent, with two 1.5-meter beds and an old-fashioned bathtub in the bathroom where you had to stand to shower. The hotel was said to be a converted prison, located next to a small park. There's a river there, but not the one along the river walk. It's about a five-minute walk to the river.
The hotel offers breakfast on the first floor in a small but filling space. They also have a COSCO coffee machine.
There's a Domino's Pizza next door; their pizzas are quite good."

"A few days of San Antonio time is very beautiful, the hotel is clean, Ctrip is cheap, here is downtown, very close to the riverside boulevard, the distance from the AT&T center of the Spurs Arena is also five or six kilometers, but unfortunately not the game time, did not see Bobo old man who is in the heart of his heart... Breakfast, very delicious, not a bit accustomed to the next two days, or our Chinese meal is delicious! !"

"Overall, it was okay. Parking is $20 a night. The room was quite large, but the facilities were a bit old. It came with a small balcony, but the soundproofing wasn't great. I was woken up in the middle of the night by loud talking from next door."

"It's in a strategic location just 5 mins walk to the riverwalk area. The hotel is quite old with a small wooden cupboard in the room. The parking is very expensive but I guess that's a normal rate within the area. For the price, it's still a good place to stay for it's location."

"Beautiful view from our hotel room ❤️ would stay here again only problem was there was some teens who were going through my laundry when I went back down to laundry room. And I ended up having some clothes missing."

"I drove myself to San Antonio and stayed at his house. The girl at the front desk was enthusiastic and patient with me despite my stuttering English. When I went downstairs and out the back door, I saw the Golden Waterfront Trail, which is built around a tributary of the river and integrates hotels, restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. On the comprehensive landscape trail, we first visited the ancient church that survived the ”Last Battle” for nearly 200 years. After dark, the trail gradually became lively. I found a favorite restaurant next to the trail and sat down. There were sightseeing boats and shuttle carriers on the river from time to time. Then there was a Marvel character parade on the river, and then I went to watch the light show in front of the church..."

The valet although being busy and taking longer than expected I was attended to well and when I left one of the valet members remembered my last name which was appreciated. The room was nice and roomy for a solo travel. I liked the balcony that came with my room. The only thing that irked me slightly was after the doors closed at midnight I was asked twice if I had my key card. I was also asked if I was a guest. I understand security reasons but I felt like it was quite unnecessary to be asked multiple times and it made me feel uncomfortable.

YYINGVery distinctive hotel! However, the room was wrong. We set a premium river view bed room with a balcony, but found that the room type given was an ordinary superior bed room with different costs. I didn't bother to change it and didn't find the front desk. The room is small but the hotel environment is very good. It is found that the rooms set by Trip.com are generally not as good as those set by the hotel or other platforms.

However, they can work on valet service and the cleanliness due to mildew on the ceiling of bathroom. Lastly. I do wish I had time to try their breakfast but I wasn't able to due to my schedule, it's a nice touch though.

PPris_reyThis was my first at this resort. My husband and I really enjoyed our spa experience. When you book an appointment you have access to the spa pool, steam room and sauna at any time during that day.
It was nice they had an adult area and a family area for pool lounging.
Having a nature trail was a plus! Plenty to do at the resort, make sure to check the calendar for events happening.
The food at Primero cantina was not good and not to my liking.
Shuttles are available to La Cantera shops and to fiesta texas.
We dined at Signature which was a really great place for a date. The red snapper was delicious!
Overall had a great experience.

GGuest UserI was double charged aside from the 43 dollars/ per night parking fee and when I called customer service, I was told that this was a split bill. The receipt that I got from the hotel states one charge but I was charged that price, plus another charge of twice that amount. Customer service refused or was incapable of explaining to me why I was charged twice. I suggest that you do not stay at this hotel.

GGolden Age GirlsIt’s within walking distance of the Amtrak station and about a 20-minute walk to the downtown area. The hotel offers quality, professional service — the front desk staff, breakfast buffet, and housekeeping were all very good and friendly. While the property felt somewhat dated, it was clean and well maintained. The bed was especially comfortable and provided a great night’s sleep.

PPhillipsThe front desk lady was very kind and welcoming. The hotel itself is very nice with a lot of food options surrounding it. The major dings I would have to give is that once my husband and I entered our room, we noticed how hot it was, we weren't too upset about it because San Antonio was 100+ degrees but the fridge was broken and we couldn't keep our water cold. Once again, no biggie because we found an ice machine and made a ”fridge” in the sink for our waters. Lastly, the room wasn't very clean, we could tell that the floors weren't vacuumed because there was candy and fibers or something on the floor sporadically. If we were staying longer than a night, I'm sure I would've been a little more pushy about needing some of the listed items above corrected. Overall I'd give my stay a 6/10. Hope this helps future guests!

LLIRONGThe decoration of the room is simple, quiet and large enough. The mattress is soft and comfortable, and the hotel lobby is open. The service was super enthusiastic the day before yesterday. The riverside trail is only two minutes away from the hotel, which is convenient for morning walks and riverside dining. The price is reasonable in this area. It is worth staying.
