TRAVELODGE SPALDING
"Clean and comfortable, and the service is very good. The rooms, however, have very poor ventilation and are unbearably warm."
Cley Hall
"Easy to check in. Single room has plenty of space. Great choice for breakfast. Very helpful staff. Close to everything, from the sights of Spalding to great places to drink and eat."
The Red Lion Hotel
"Most hotels could learn from the Red Lion. Posh hotels have more cushions , over complex coffee makers, etc. Chains get most things right but are sometimes run down or skimp on basics. The Red Lion had all the plugs in the right place, sensible surfaces in the right places, excellent tv, simple good shower and only 2 small cushions. Very well thought out and very good value. The aircon on one of the hottest days was great. The aircon at our Premier Inn the previous day wasn't working, the room was tired, probably not refreshed for 20 years, wifi was snail pace. Such a let down. The Red Lion showed how it could be done properly but with a great beer choice, a simple but delicious breakfast and very good staff. So many small but important details were got right. The people who run this place know what they're doing. Thanks!"
Woodlands Hotel
"Woodlands hotel review We booked the Woodlands as a venue for my mother’s 80th birthday party. This included reserving most of the rooms for friends and family to stay over. The staff at the hotel were fantastic throughout, from the reservation, through booking and organising food and entertainment, all the way to looking after us all on the evening of the party. Gang and his team couldn’t do enough for us, laying out the food for our 60 guests, cutting and serving the cake, and keeping the bar open until late. We would definitely recommend the Woodlands if you are looking for a party venue in Spalding."
The Mansion House Hotel
"We were lucky enough to stay here over the bank holiday weekend and had a wonderful experience. Beautiful room and the hosts were so accommodating and helpful. Highly recommended and lovely stay - thank you for having us !"
The Red Lion
"This was a unplanned morning of stay booking that broke up a 6 hour journey. This pub stay was 2 hours from our destination. The Room is lovely, only down side is heat due to it being a hot day which isn’t the pubs fault. Unfortunately they have no availability on our return journey which we would have left our holiday a day earlier on the coast to have a return stop on the way home. Staff are lovely and food is great."
