This was an unexpected gem! We stayed in the French Provincial Suite, Room # 10. The room was so clean, bed was very comfortable, excellent water pressure in the shower, jacuzzi was an added bonus. The room also had an electric fireplace that could be enjoyed with or without heat. The price was unbeatable! Looking forward to returning.

This inn sits in the perfect spot but although you can tell improvements are being made in places attention to detail should be better for guests. Room windows don't stay open, dripping tap, plug for jacuzzi bath not working although front desk sorted by borrowing from another room. Paper thin walls makes for a lot of noise when trying to relax, even listening to other guests toilet habits is not good. Breakfast was simply just ok but not enough for all the guests staying. Inn sits across 3 floors so be careful which floor you book if you don't have full mobility to carry your luggage 3 floors up. Town is very small so I'd recommend 1 or 2 days max here. Guests are your livelihood so I would suggest try and make them more comfortable by updating the Inn

This is one of our favourite hotels for a short getaway. That being said, it is definitely in need of some TLC. Initially when I booked 5 months ago, I had requested a ground floor room, and was really disappointed to find we were on the TOP floor, having to climb 4 sets of stairs, which appeared to have recently had the carpeting ripped up and not replaced. Having some mobility issues, I was not very happy with that, and was told that you need to call directly to ensure you get the room you want.. kind of makes booking online pointless IMO. I would definitely have booked for another date, had I known I was going to have to climb stairs every day. The room itself was large and had a great view. The king size mattress was terribly soft and made for some sore backs come morning. Cleaning could have been a bit more thorough... dirt on the fans, spiderwebs in the corners. Nice bathroom, and I love the big jacuzzi tub... such a treat! Continental breakfast was adequate and the deck is nice to enjoy the view. It could stand with some restaining though. They have added a cute little gazebo and firepit just off the deck which is nice too. The location is perfect, close to shops, beach and restaurants, and the staff are friendly, if (I believe) short handed. Front doors are locked between 5-6:30 so make sure you don't have any requests after that, as you'll have to call someone back on site. All in all, it's still a great place to stay... the management just needs to bring it up to snuff, for the rates they're charging.

The “deluxe” king room we booked was hardly that. Very basic furniture in a small room occupied about 25% by a huge bathtub. There was also a small bathroom with a small, unimpressive fibreglass shower. Towels were tiny and the type one would find at an old time mom and pop motel. The room was called the leopard room, named so because it has a bleached out printed of a leopard on one wall. What was most off-putting was that a take out container of half eaten nachos (I think) from the previous had been left in fridge along with a couple of containers of some sort of sauce. Also the wifi did not work in the morning. I, along with others brought this to the attention of a young woman at the desk who rather nonchalantly advised that another staff member would be in at noon to try and fix it, meanwhile, we could go to the coffee shop up the street see if we could use theirs. I believe she was confused as to what is internet and what is wifi from her explanation of the problem. It was suggested that we think of lack of internet as a “retreat”…. Believe me, if I had wanted a retreat I would have booked one. I booked this place because it advertised it had internet which was necessary to me on that day. Irritating.

We stayed in this lovely hotel the night before the total eclipse. If I'd known we would have such a beautiful room and patio area overlooking the harbour I would have booked another night. The patio is quite a sun trap. They also have an outdoor heater available. The staff were all very friendly.

During the Mothers Day weekend we stayed in a very charming inn located beside the inner harbour leading to Port Stanley’s famous beach. Of the 3 accommodations located in the main street of Port Stanley, this is the only one with rooms fronting the harbour. The room we stayed in reminded me of the cottage rooms in Hallmark movies . It is really a small inn that the reception area only has a small bar and some chairs. They don't even serve breakfast or coffee to guests but that's alright. The views from our room more than made up for the lack of breakfast.

This is my 3rd visit to this Inn. I have had 3 different rooms and I loved them all. So close to great food, beach, shopping, sunrises and sunsets. Everyone I interacted with was genuine, helpful and pleasant. Bed is super cozy, linens clean and fresh.

We had the pleasure of staying at this location for two days in September. The staff are all very pleasant and helpful. The continental breakfast was a nice surprise but the room and views were phenomenal. This is a nice spot that is central and a very easy walk to both the Little and Big Beaches. Loved it here and will be coming again year after year.
