Marinus Beach Hotel

I would highly reccomend this hotel! Such a beautiful location - right on the beach and perfect little town with a few restaurants/bars. We had some difficulties getting an uber on one of the days due to the location not being in Split, but this was soon resolved. Easy to get to the hotel from the airport - €18 each way in a taxi. Breakfast is lovely! Couldn't have asked for more, and the selection was varied each morning (with the set menu for hot food). The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - always ensuring to check in with us, and that we're having a good stay! Staff were also really helpful when they spotted dolphins in the harbour one morning at breakfast - it was incredible to see them swimming around!! Rooms are very spacious, and the bed is super comfortable!! The only downside was the partition between the bedroom and bathroom - not much privacy when using the toilet! We visited Split for a day, and I can honestly say that staying in Marina is so much better and more beautiful! Much more of an authentic and peaceful place (Split was a bit manic and that was out of season!). The best part about Split was the old town and the mall! I would highly recommend visiting Trogir - which was €10 each way with an Uber. An incredibly beautiful old town, with amazing restaurants and shops. Also, we found a bit of a gem and visited Primosten - wow! Gorgeous location with waterside restaurants and a beautiful walk around the island.

Wonderful hotel in Marina Agana. Our party stayed here while preparing to go sailing. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The on site restaurant serves great food and the view from the dining room overlooking the harbor is relaxing. Very nice rooms.

We dropped our sail boat off in Trogir. From there we traveled 25 mins to Marina. This hotel is exceptional. The staff is amazing! The hotel is a jewel. Everybody is so helpful, and kind. The pool looks over the small bay. The hotel is a short walk to a beautiful little village that is full of incredible little restaurants and shops. Top Spot.

We have been at this hotel for 3 days & we have not a single fault. The staff are really friendly & genuine people. Reception staff in particular are very, very helpful and aim to please. They definitely go above and beyond. The rooms are very modern and designed to a high standard. They are very well laid out. Breakfast has a great selection every day. There is something for everyone & you can also have things made to order such as shrimp torpedo ( tempura prawns), eggs Benedict or a variety of pancakes to name but a few. We had an evening meal here at the hotel, there was plenty to choose from & the meal was really nice. A little bit pricey but you pay for what you get. The hotel also has its own sun-bed area at the beach, which takes less than 30 seconds to get to. There is also a snacks and drinks bar nearby. We shall definitely be coming back to this hotel.

This is a truly excellent boutique hotel with stunning vistas and a wonderfully modern yet understated finish. More importantly it has some of the best staff I have come across in a long time. Their consideration for guests and the personalisation of their approach is fantastic

I really can't emphasise enough how wonderful this hotel was. The staff were thoughtful, proactive, always professional and genuinely friendly. I looked forward to seeing them each shift change. Together, the staff made our holiday truly special and for that, it was worth staying there without any of the other superb reasons this hotel gives you. The management (Madame Saric? - Emanuela I think her name) has a rare talent. The hotel has an award winning design and the attention to detail in the rooms was a real delight for me. I'm tired of hotel rooms that put style over substance. It was chic, spacious, comfortable, quiet and great amount of storage. I could reach things and although not a specially built disabled room, I found it easy to move around and would have even stayed there on my own because I felt so safe, comfortable, I didn't need the usual amount of assistance from my husband. The view was heavenly from the balcony, the terrace and the beach. The loch is warm and perfectly calm for swimming - bring swim shoes for the pebbles down to the water or use the free hotel slippers like we did to get in and out. The breakfasts are varied and plentiful. The downside for us was that the evening menu was very international and plain (all be it beautifully styled.) I personally wanted to eat some local Croatian dishes, but here are numerous good eating places a few minutes on foot, if you want a different style. The pool is safe, easy to get in and out if you have mobility problems like me, but at the end of the season it is in the shade most of the day so very cold! I use an electric wheelchair and managed to move down to the beach going out the front door and circling the perimeter of the building rather than from the terrace, which has steps leading down to the sand, but that was a small price to pay for a lovely stay and my only effort. Also, (maybe because end of season) the bar staff at the beach bar didn't come to the loungers on the beach, so without my able-bodied husband, I wouldn't have been able to get drinks or food. I'm sure they would have carried them down if asked, but I still wouldn't have been able to get their attention in the first place without help. I would love to return to the Marinus Beach and hope you have a wonderful stay too if you decide to go.
