Location and accommodation good. We booked a villa with air con, laundry facilities and WiFi. We were asked to pay an additional 100e for air conditioning. Laundry didn't exist in the property. WiFi was one of the worst we have experienced.

The fairy hermitage lives up to its name. We spent an idyllic week on this beautifully situated farmstead, in the 'pixie' house for two. The location was perfect for exploring the less touristy parts of Umbria. The accommodation could not be faulted, the views were spectacular, the two swimming pools were glorious. We were given the warmest welcome by Beatrice, Ginevra and their team. We ate in the little weekend on-site restaurant twice and enjoyed delicious Umbrian home cooking. The one breakfast we ate there was impressive. We highly recommend Eremo delle Fate.

We stayed 5 nights ultimo September, and Eremo was a nice place to stay and explore this part of Umbria. We were served breakfast in front of the fireplace in a lovely setting. The food was good with fresh ingredients, pastries and very nice service. We happily started the day by the upper pool area with beautiful views. We stayed in the Gnometto room, nice room and great bathroom, but a bit hard beds. The room is right next to the dining area, might not have chosen it in high season. We are happy to return, not least to meet the nice staff again.

After a two year delay we finally spent five too short days at Eremo delle Fate. We loved the peaceful, beautiful location and high- spec accommodation set in the hills above Spoleto. The great reviews are accurate and well-deserved. Thank you to Ginevra and Beatrice for making our happy stay possible and to Manuela for wonderful al fresco breakfasts. Georgio gave us great advice for day trips and restaurants, so we felt we made the most of our week. This is a family business and you are made to feel very welcome indeed. Our first taste of Umbria was unforgettable. We shall return.

Abbiamo passato una settimana in un comodo appartamento con un ottima privacy. Un soggiorno rilassante immersi nella natura a pochi km dalla cittadina di Spoleto, con la possibilità di usare 2 piscine , dove ci siamo rigenerati sia dopo le gite quotidiane, che quando rimanevamo in sede. Per la sera era aperto il ristorante con menù fisso sempre diverso e per la mattina ci aspettava una ricca colazione dolce fatta in casa dalla proprietaria. Il posto è incantevole e Ginevra ha creato tutto questo. Tutto perfetto, dalle camere al ristorante. La cilieggina è il caminetto all'aperto accanto al ristorante, dove, anche con giornate fredde puoi cenare o fare colazione. Da provare assolutamente

Sicuramente un bel posto, posizione comoda, staff gentilissimo e disponibile, colazione ottima, appartamenti ben arredati puliti e confortevoli, piscine super… insomma posto caldamente consigliato. Anche spunti di miglioramento: - mancanza di segnale mobile e le Wi-Fi non andavano bene - orario check-out alle 10 potrebbe essere allungato un poco per consentire di fare con più calma - troppe zanzare sia in prossimità piscina che davanti agli appartamenti (esistono disinfestazioni professionali settimanali per ridurre il fenomeno) - negli splendidi appartamenti alcune pecche tipo: asse water usurato, muro bagno da imbiancare, no acqua di cortesia in frigorifero, presenza di bicchierini di plastica usa e getta in bagno…

dopo tanti anni che viaggiamo abbiamo trovato un vero agriturismo gestito in maniera semi-familiare ! Stanze pulite, colazione a base di "veri " prodotti fatti in casa, giardino ben curato. certamente ci torneremo in futuro !
